What Students Say

Likes

Infrastructure is very good and large . It has lot of departments
Teaching method is also very good but no that much practical knowledge more focus is on theory
Various cultural activities are performed and a good entertainment for students

Dislikes

Washroom are so stinky. There should be more focus
The computer labs have old pc which do not work properly
There is no fee concession for the students who gained above 90 percentage in semester

Course Curriculum Overview

As I choose the software development course according to me this has a scope in today's technology world. The theory teachers are so good but there is less focus on practical. The focus on practicals should be more as the students can gain the practical knowledge

Class Size: 40Course Fees: INR 32000 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

The fees has two installments for first semester it is 15000 and for second it is 10000. There are scholarship for sc students and the student who has marks above than 90 percentage will also get fee concession in first semester

Campus Life

There are a lot events in the year that happens in the college like book fair is one of the most interesting event that happens every year in the college also there a lot of events of each department such as tech fest, commerce fest etc. They also provide NIC in the first semester for the students who are interested

Admission

Firstly we have to get a prospectus from the admission hall for that you have to pay 500 rs. The criteria for my course was it could be any stream with not below than 50 percent. The admission process is quite lengthy.

Faculty

If there is class upto 50 students there is different teacher for every subject.The computer science department teachers are very good and very experienced but some new hired teacher does not perform that well. But all the teachers are so friendly. If we talk about the difficulty of exam they are moderate if someone will pay attention to studies during exams they can easily pass out.In our class there was only 5to 6 students who failed

Night Life

The food court in the college is the most crowded place every day . But other cafeterias are not that much good except agriculture canteen. As thr college is on highways all the facilities near it are available

Every year Placement Drive is organized for students. Many companies visit our college. Students appear in interviews and get a chance to interact with multi-level companies. Many students got placement in good companies and production houses. Some students from Animation Department have also worked in Jumanji and Bahubali movies.

There are no placement opportunities for students. We have found a job on our own. Many students go for further studies or change their fields. Some students join as helpers in small clinics around the college. There is no help provided by the college for internships eitherI choose this course here in Khalsa College because it is only provided there.
