MY EXPERIENCE

Curriculum is designed quite well. We had two exams like unit tests and two major exams of hundred marks. But the way of teaching is very good, equal hours are given to both theory and clinical classes.

Internships are completely in college in different departments we are posted and given specific quota to complete and get signed by our heads of departments as a sign of completion. And internships are most fun part of our course because ofcourse we are now the most senior.

I paid 2.25 lac per year and 75000 was my hostel fee, which got an increase of around 25000 every year in course fee and 10k to 15k in hostel fee. Fee was same for every category student accept for scholarship ones

We had fests every year which included all the activites including sports and competitions. Library is good and it was easy to issue any book for a specific time. There are projectors and white boards in the classroom.

Hostel rooms are good, we were provided with all essential things. Meals were okay but the variety of menu is quite wide. Registration process is not that hectic but the costs of everything is not that affordable for everyone. I always stayed in hostel but there are rented flats which were near to college and more affordable than hostels

I did not apply to any other college, i directly applied in this college based on seniors advice. And people's has two different dental colleges one is old in which i studied that is People's college of dental sciences and research center and People's dental academy is new one.

Faculties are easily approcable without any doubt. I loved the faculties of Oral surgery department. Exams were divided into 2 major ones happened twice a year and some assessments in between we had i far as i remember

In terms of campus, its a full package because there are canteens, gym, library, etc. Hostel in timings were 9 to 9.30 pm. Campus is safe to roam around till night but obviously not outside the campus.
