My college review

Our college is one of the best in ojr city in infrastructure. The infrastructure is so good that you will be shocked. The placements are quite good but not constant every year and the packages are some low. The fee structure is increasing every year.

Our college got autonomous during my batch in 2015 only. The course structure is so good that it will be beneficiary to the student. There will be no subjects to study in 4-2 semester. So student can concentrate on project and internship or any other beneficiary courses. There will be 2 mid exams and a semester exam for every exam. The mid exams are of 30 percent weightage which is average of both mid exams and semester exam is of 60 percent weightage and remaining 10 percent is your assignment marks.

The placements are not quite well for every student. One should have to progress himself by his own to get a placement. But i doesn't say there are no placements in my college since i am also placed in my college. But it doesn't be constant or growth every year. Our college doesn't provide any internship but they give you a chance to do internship in 4-2 semester.

Students should be doing and celebrating events and other fests beside studies. But my college is very poor in events section. There is no one fest celebrated in my college during my batch, i don't think it is celebrated previously. Only department days are celebrated in our college and a Annual day celebration.

During my batch the fee structure is feasible and i got fee reimbursement from AP government. So i am able to pay my fee in small amount. But now the fee is damn high and it is around 1.2 lakh besides that we need to pay around 26k for bus fee too.

Yes, if you are among top 3 rankers in your department, you will got 33k,22k,11k as 1st,2nd,3rd rankers respectively. There is no loan facility in our college. One needs to take educational loan from bank.

There are extracurricular activities in our college with gym and ground also. Students can use them in evening free time period. The labs are somewhat okay but they are some old model stuff and they doesn't work in sometimes.

No i am not in hostel. But our college built a new hostel which is damn good and efficient. It is opened recently in this year only. There is separate hostel for girls and boys. The infrastructure is good but food is some bad.

No support at all. Only seniors in our college support us in exams or placements. We don't know a single alumni student supporting us. Our college also doesn't look in alumni people. But we can get use to the seniors.

There is an entrance exam known as EAMCET in the Andhra Pradesh state. Students write this exam after completing the intermediate course. On qualifying the eamcet exam, the government would see the weightage of 75 percent in eamcet exam and 25 percent in intermediate marks. According to that the seat is alloted to the respected student based on the reservation system.
