The location of the campus is fantastic considering the availability of goods and services
Infrastructure is weak compared to other NITs but it suffices

Dislikes

Infrastructure can be worked upon a lot like sports facilities
The funding for a lot of clubs is weak and can be improved

Course Curriculum Overview

The curriculum is up to date with NEP schemes and the departments are quick to adjust and implement the said syllabus. The practicals conducted are at par with the theory. The exams are of moderate level with some subjects of high difficulty

Class Size: 130Course Fees: INR 2000000 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

Every semester 62.5k tution fees i.e. 5Lakh for four years, 67.5k misc fees for 4years, 35k seat rent and Institute development fees. SC ST students get complete fee waiver. Ews students get full fee remission

Campus Life

Annual events like Sparsh and mindbend which are cultural and technical events respectively are huge flagship events that are conducted every year with good sponsors and involvement. Clubs here are very active especially the coding and cultural clubs. Sports teams of college are also active with proper participation in inter NITs

Admission

I only applied to this college due to my proximity to home. The location of this college is fantastic due to it being in the centre of surat. The eligibility for this college is clearing the jee mains exam

Faculty

Faculty to student ratio is good, regular classes are conducted without putting over stress on students. Very good interaction with faculties for students and eager students are already working with professors on research.

Night Life

The campus has a lot of hangout spots to unwind after long day of classes, the CRC lawns is a great place to sit and enjoy with friends. Library basement is also a place of fun. The hostel intime is 10:30 for both girls and boys.

Placement Experience:

ganpat uiversity does offer placement in 7 semester. placement is different fore different fields. in my field in b.tech in computer engineering and Information technology aroung 200 to 250 stundet apply for the placemnt in campus and around 100 to 150 student get the placement. and i am one of the licky student who get the placed in company. more then 50 compnt have come in collage for the placement and most of them recruet the student for our field. thay mostly conduct the three test to sort the student. most of them select 2 to 3 student get placed. placement cell is highly active and interactive to student and keep updated the student about latest news about diffrent company. thay also have expert session for student to improve the interview skill and math skill. session are mosly online so any one can join the session. thay also provide the material to prepare for placement and improve the skills student have. tha place student get the offer around the 3,50,000 to 6-7,00,000 per year.

. From the 7th semester students will eligible for the campus placements . For the mechanical branch, last year average package was of 9.78 lac . There are too many companies that which every year here such as mahindra, ford, John Deere etc. For mechanical branch . Last year around 70-80% students were placed in the mechanical engineering

My college life.

Placement Experience:

From the 7th semester companies are coming to select the students. Number of companies are visiting; TCS, Oddo, etc. It depends on the performance of the students; As per 2023, highest package is 12 lakh per anum and average is 4 lakh per anum. Around 50 % students get placed and other live for higher studies or remain unplaced. I will go for the post graduation studies after completing bachelor as I like to explore more in new technology.

Placement Experience:

Students become eligible for placement from their 7th semester. Companies which have visited and which do visit our college regularly Siemens, L&T, Aarvee, Nippon Koei, Jindal Steel, TCE, DFCCIL, RITES, Hitachi Vantara, TATA Projects, Mahindra Logistics, Transworld, Garuda etc. Since only two branches graduated in 2024, the placement percentage was 88% for ECE and 92% for Civil. My plan after getting the degree is to go for the UPSC IES exam and GATE preparation.

Truth of Integrated MSc in SVNIT

I've got into B.Tech courses like CSE in other NITa and also Universities like Andhra University, JNTU Hyderabad and Osmania University, but my interest on Mathematics made me choose this course, but the curriculum and the placement of the course has disappointed every one who do join without prior knowledge.
