Course Curriculum Overview

4

First of all unlike other colegs this college does not teach the same things in the first year to al.the students. It focuses to start teaching the student all the necessary concepts and subject right from the first year while keeping the university guidelines under consideration. The curriculum makes us independent to learn some topic from ourselves as there are some topics labelled for self study. It is just that the extra subject which are irrelevant to the branch should have less assignments. As mentioned before the exams are very easy for the extra subjects.

Internships Opportunities

4

Companies likePixelstat eDevlopment Solutions hired students for internship to work on real time application development projects, Mindscroll hired many students to work for development of CRM software. etc

Placement Experience

5

Students become eligible for placement after completing 3rd year. As of 2024, more than 120 companies visited and mor ethan 500 students were placed. Highest package was 24 lpa offered by Phonepe and average pakceg was 7.5 lpa offered by various companies such as TCS etc. around 85% of the eligible students are placed. I plan to work for a couple of years to gain capital and experience and later start my own buisness revolving around software engineering.

Fees and Financial Aid

General and management fees are 191737, in which tution fees are 166087, devlopment fees are 24,913 and university fees are 737. In case of EWS, OBC, EBC, SEBC Category students fees is 108694 where tution fees is half and the fees is 25650 for OBC,EBC,SEBC,EWS females and 25650 for SC,ST,TFWS,SBC,NT students and for Jammu Kashmir admissions fees is 24737. There is no other scholarships as the admissions are done through CAP process.

Campus Life

3

The annual event that happens here is Nakshtra and there are many other days that are celebrated here. There is a very wide range of variety of books available in the library. There are more than enough books and reference and research paper than one can need in his/her program. There are various sports and technclubs too like the college kabaddi cricket and chess teams and also the Google devloper club, vertex club and many other clubs which look forward to teach the students extra things necessary for their career and life.

Hostel Facilities

2

We get unlimited wifi with an very poor speed. There is regular ower cut out in the afternoon for one hour. We get hot water daily for 6 hours but the water is hard water which is a major issue. The hostel does not have a mess or a laundry service so students have to get these servies from private sources. Theeee is face recognition scanner installed at the ground floor so that the students can entry their in and out time easily. There are also regular cleanings of room and regular attendence at night. According to me this hostel is not with the money we pay for it.

Admission

I got seat for AISSMS IOIT in Artificial intelligence and data science branch but MIT AOE is way better in terms of placement and academics. Also being autonomous there are either advantages too. I gave MHT CET and participated in the CAP process but as my percentile was less than the cut off of other colleges like VIT, PCCOE and COEP I didi not got admission there for my desired branch.

Faculty

4

According to me the faculty to student ratio must be 1: 60. There are many lecturers who stand out in the college like Prafulla Hatte sir who teach Design Thinking. Also to mention Kunjan ma'am is also an alrounder faculty and one of the best MIT has to offer. Some of the faculties I didn't like are Tarange sir who does not teach Science of Nature with energy, he just comes to the class dictates the ppt and leaves. The college is autonomous and hence the exam papers are set by the college itself and the exams of the unnecessary subjects which are irrelevant to the branch are easy compared to the core subject like Foundation of Computing and Linux for CS (software) branch. The exams are conducted in 2 parts, mid semester examination and end semester examination, there are also internal assessment, continuous assesment to make sure the student is understanding and is able to apply the concepts. According to me the curriculum is well crafted.

Night Life

2

Mostly all the labs and classes are closed after 5 pm. Only the library is open till 10 pm and the students can use the facility until then. The cafeteria also closed till 10 pm. The college hostel has a in timing of 10 pm. Mostly the students hang out in the college cafeteria aka shriraj mess. Ther is also the terrace of the D block and nothing much. The campus is small and compact there is nothing much to explore as there is always contruction work going on.

Other Applied Colleges

AISSMS Institute of Information Technology | Bachelor of Technology [B.Tech] (Artificial Intelligence & Data Science)

I got mit in 3rd cap round

Course Curriculum Overview:

Yes the curriculum is 50-50 where it is relevant as some point and it slightly turns irrelevant at some point but which is fine Some subjects like DSA and FDS are important and the fundamentals of computer stream But the m3 subject is just not needs according to me which makes it tough to understand so many subjects at some point We have 5 subjects per semester The curriculum helps to improve us in many ways where they teach us the relevant languages and makes us industry ready The improvement should be in the AI sector as it is the ongoing trend which might help everyone to improve their self The frequency of exams is ok if considered As the insem is around a month after the semester starts and the endsem is around 2 or 2.5 months after the insem That depends

The college has good placement offers and internships which helps students to get placed in good companies but sometimes they get less placement, the placement fro civil department has more numbers than any other department as the college owner is a builder , the college has higher placement jobs in it sector and technical sector too , the other non technical sector for placement are sales and marketing jobs which also offered in this college by the traning and placement team , the college has a department of training and placement.
