Course Curriculum Overview

The course curriculum is designed in a way the industry expects their employees to be. We have elective courses which provides choice for us to choose a domain we are interested in to study , it becomes one of our theory paper

Class Size: 60Course Fees: INR 300000 per year

Placement Experience

Students are eligible for placements from their sixth semester and we are provided training from our third semester itself. Top companies like Microsoft, Infosys, Accenture visit our college and average package is around 5 to 6 LPA

Fees and Financial Aid

I paid 3L in first year and 2.6L for the next consecutive years. It includes all the admission fees, etc. we don't need to pay any fees for transport, and food, it is provided for free unlike other colleges

Campus Life

We have only one cultural event which is conducted in the month of February where celebrities come as chief guests. We have 30 clubs and also separate committee for every club, and students are given the freedom to organise events

Admission

This college doesn't work on donation basis which makes it unique from other private universities and also the admission process is very transparent and smooth, it hardly takes 30 mins to confirm your admission

Faculty

The faculties are majority Ph.D holders who are very knowledgeable in their domain. The exam system until our batch is internal and external with practicals, now they have also introduced open book tests

Night Life

Gym facilities are provided to hostelers, and library is quite big when compared to other colleges. Hostel outings are provided only on sundays, and daily attendance is taken in hostel using bio sensors to ensure students safety

Placement Experience:

this is where they lie the most , they claim to have placement records of 97% but in reality its just 10%. because of huge student crowd , placing everyone is one big task. the company that comes here for hiring are mostly startups and some lesser known company . branches like mechanical and EEE have it even more difficult time to get placement.the highest package of over college is of 16 lakhs .

Placement Experience:

At VIT Chennai, students become eligible for campus placements starting from their 6th semester, with placement training beginning in the 5th semester. Top companies or recruiters include Amazon, Microsoft, Deloitte, Cognizant, TCS, Infosys, Wipro, PayPal, Bosch, Accenture, and Intel, among others. In 2023, over 900 companies participated across VIT campuses, making more than 12,000 offers. The highest package offered was ?1.02 crore per annum by a global recruiter, while the average package for core placements ranged between ?6-7 LPA, with Super Dream offers exceeding ?25 LPA and Dream offers ranging from ?10-15 LPA. Around 90% of eligible students get placed, with profiles offered in software development, consulting, analytics, and core engineering. After completing the degree, students often pursue roles in top companies, higher studies, or entrepreneurial ventures.

Firstly SRM has a very good placement rate, Campus placements are rightly provided in the campus. It starts from the 5 sem where companies come for providing internships to the students. i was already studied diploma in electrical and electronics engineering so my course selection was based on that. the college which i have studied is 90% is absed on the old theory ony they are teaching the the latest thing. the internal exams will come twice in a semester and based in that your internal mark will upload.

Sathyabama and it's perks

I had applied to SRM University also , I gave exam and I got the seat for less fees , i would have gotten it if my 12th pcm percentage was a bit higher , it was 60 percent but I had 54 , so yes that's what went wrong and how I couldn't get into SRM, then I check colleges for mine found sathyabama was a better option , I saw cresent too but I didn't like that atmosphere I felt sathyabama was better ( it's just personal preference ) , Admission process at sathyabama is fairly easy , u can go to the college they will tell you the course select ur course they will tell the fees applicable to u , it might fluctuate by time , then u fill the forms and required documents and pay the fees.
