Course Curriculum Overview
Good enough, now the new curriculum is published which is even more good and starting the new exit exam after the MBBS for your high level education like pg. The introduce the NEXT exam which is in ongoing mode and will be approved soon.
Internships Opportunities
Internship is provided by the college in their hospital and you can get the internship after successfully passed out the final year. Then you will get the internship in the same hospital and you can get paid as per the government guidelines. The stipend is around 21,000/- Rs. Per month.
Fees and Financial Aid
In all GMERS fee structure has been changed last year and the new fee structure for GMERS Himmatnagar is Goverment quota:- 3,75,000/- Rs. Management quota:- 12,00,000/- Rs. NRI quota:-25,000/- $ You can get scholarship named MYSY in which you can get half of your tuition fees or 2,00,000/- Rs. Whichever is less. And for girls you can also get Kanya kelavani shay which is also half of your tuition fees. For those who is single parent child (whose father is dead) can get CMSS named scholarship in which half of your tuition fees are included.
Campus Life
Infrastructure is good and sometimes the proper management is done but you have to be careful in monsoon. In social activities there is always some fest named PHEONIX, every year during March- April this fest is conducted and everybody participate in it.
Hostel Facilities
Government hostels are sucks, they provided enough money but the mediocre are taking the money and wasting it for personal use and don't improve the hostel facilities, water drainage problems, toilet problems these are some constant problem. Rent is too high(12,000/- Rs.) for these type of facilities.
Admission
I choose this college because I can't get admission in better college, so I saw the nearest college from my house and then I choose it. In MBBS course college doesn't matter but in pg college matters so if you get any better college near your house please give it a chance.
Faculty
Facilities are good in nature, no toxicity in any position. Course:- MBBS (5.5 years- 1 year of internship is included) 1st year:- Anatomy, Physiology, Biochemistry 2nd year:- Pharmacology, Microbiology, Pathology 3rd year:- PSM, FM 4th year:- Surgery, Medicine, OBGY, Pediatrics
Night Life
Night life is ok ok before, but now new restaurant and cafe has been opened and now you can enjoy the nightlife. But there is one catch only boys can enjoy the nightlife and can do nightout but girls can't due to security reasons, they had to come hostel at sharp 10.30 pm.
