Good college if you are looking for a job

The courses for first year will be same for every branch . The core subjects are introduced in second year. The advantage with the circulum is you have choice to choose your professional and open elective according to your interest. And one thing which can be improved is new subjects according to technology industry can be introduced. And coming to the exams the exams are conducted for every 4 months each semester is of 16 weeks

The college provides good job opportunities but internship oppurtunities are few, however it supports you in sharing about the opportunities the training and placement cell of the college sends regular messages regarding the various internship oppurtunities.

The placement oppurtunities are good , companies like TCS, Infosys, Capgemini,pinnacle etc. visit our college for placements , the average package will be around 4-5 lakhs and one of our senior got into Microsoft with a package of 50lpa

The yearly fee is 69000, it should be paid in the starting of the academic year and you have to pay extra 10000 as other fee.there is no lab fee. If you have any fee reimbursement from the government you just need to pay 10000. You need not pay any fee before exams also.

There are various social, technical and cultural clubs in our college that conduct events. There are clubs such as Rotaract, nss, youth for seva etc. and technical clubs such as gdsc, IEEE and etc. the classrooms contain projectors. The library conisits of various books and there is also digital library to access research papers

I applied to some other colleges in vishakapatnam but I chose gvp because of its good placements and discipline. Many of the parents suggested me to join in GVP because of its placement oppurtunities. I got a rank of 2533 in EAMCET and my first preference was gvp only. You can get into gvp through EAMCET and some get into college through jee mains also

The college has good faculty some have completed their phds and others their m.tech's. the faculty are supportive and friendly. Whenever we have doubts they are ready to clarify. The semester exams are easy to pass if you practice and attend the classes properly

There is a gym and a canteen in our college. Girls from hostel are not allowed into college premises without permission after 6pm. The timings of college are 8.40 am in the morning to 3.30 pm in the evening. However the library is open until 7pm
