Life at Karpagam Academy of Higher Education, Coimbatore, TamilNadu: A Detailed Reviews

Course curriculum contains information for all the basics and traditional methods. Some staff would alter the questions and notes to provide us with extra knowledge that correlates with the present world. One thing I would change about the curriculum is I would enable teaching to be more practical than theoretical. The Exam difficulty is 4/5 with 5 being most difficult. Exams would be conducted on monthly intervals so you would have enough time for preparation.

Students will be eligible for campus placements upon their completion of their second last semester. Students with no backlogs will be eligible to apply for companies. I personally chose not to opt for Campus as I had references in other companies. The minimum package offered during the 2024 campus recruitment was 1.8LPA and the Max was about 7 LPA. Around 60% students get placed in a job that opt in placement cell.

Hey People. I have completed B.Tech Chemical Engineering at Karpagam Academy of Higher Education in Coimbatore, Tamil Nadu. I had a pleasant 4 years during the course. I initially paid Rs.5000 as admission fees followed by Rs.75000 per year which is Rs.37500 per semester. Fee payment should be done within each semester. If violated you would be obliged to Penal charges. Exam fees was 4400 on average for each semester. Few laboratories inside the campus has well maintained machinaries which are perfect for Projects and Research Purposes. The college would provide high quality Placement Cell which work tirelessly for specifically IT field (Non-Core). Students with Sports Certifictes at State and National Level are provided with around 30% - 70% scholarship based on their level. Merit scholarships are also available but there was not anyone from our batch that could avail it, so I'm not aure about the details. Apart from the fees, the infrastructure would make you go WOW! But you should have to walk a lot as the college is vast, so get your shoes ready. Exchange Students Programme is quite a great thing about the college. There will be many students from Taiwan and african countries as well. So Discrimination, Racisim, Colourism is not a thing. Satefy wouldn't be a concern. Several PG are available near the location so migration will be easy. Hostels are not that good and expensive as well. Hostel and canteen are maintained by different organisations. Hostel food was below par but on the other hand, Canteen Food was awesome. Overall The college is affordable and one with a mindset to get placed in IT domain should opt for Karpagam Academy of Higher Education.

Every month, there would most definitely be a festival on an event that would lit up the whole college. Annually there would be overnight Events DJ. Exhibitions and Talent Search Events would also be underway inside the campus frequently. When it comes to sports, Seniors would be given extra care. Other normal students can particapte in sports day every year for fun and win prizes. Every classroom is equipped with well functioning Projectors and Screens. So learning will be made easy. Libraries is one of the best features of the college as the range of books is astonishing. A separate block is dedicated with equipped libraries. Borrowing in libraries is also available.

Only few colleges in my city had actually provided Chemical Engineering Course. 7 to be. The pivotal point for choosing Karpagam Academy of Higher Education(KAHE) is for its Fee structure and Staffs. Before joining KAHE i enquired at Hindustan Engineering College nearby but they requested Donation for the course and also they were skeptical about Placements. The admission process is pretty direct. You pay 5000 and you're enrolled. You would be given time to pay the remaining fee. The cutoffs only come to play when you're looking at scholarships but one must have obtained 60% min percentage in 12th Standard to be eligible for any course. Otherwise it's easy to enter via Management Quota. Choosing counselling has its advantages too.

Faculty to student relationship is subjective. Professors would hold grudges if one tries to oversmart or disrespect them. The best staff during my course was actually two professors. One was Mrs. Sree Bavya Srinivasan and the other was Mr. Ramalingam. They even helped me financially as I'm from a poor background. Other than them everyone was friendly but there were few incidents that were later solved by ourselves. The Course structure was pretty straightforward but to attain marks you would need a whole load of research and notes from books and internet. The amount of curriculum is manageable for the time period. Scoring is based completely upon the content. Every department has around 10 staffs which is a great number. And every department has around 70-90 students. So the ratio considering this is college is pretty well.

There are two different Caferias inside the campus. Both are well maintained and the food provided will be quality as well. There will be many options for breakfast, lunch, snacks, drinks and desserts. Campus for Engineering will start at 8:45 am and for Arts students at 9:00 am. Students are not allowed to leave the hostel after 8:00 pm. Gate pass from wardens are required to get out the campus. Locality is not safe for people as it is highway. It is suggested to better not roam outside the campus often. But the lights will be awesome near the locality. Restaurants, Cafes and Bakeries are availavle nearby. Clothings stores, Salon, Gym, Photo Studio, Hospitals, Clinics, Medical Shops, Department Stores are all available nearby. Most of them open by 9:00 am. Gym is available inside the campus as well. Opens at 4:00 am in the esrly morning and close at 8:00 am. Again opens at 5:00 pm and closes at 8:00 pm.
