Dislikes
- Though there are events placed in a moderate amount throughout the year, I don't feel that the events were always administered well
- The college could do more for some cases of bullying
- Not all teachers are in the same wavelength as others in regards to keeping a calm environment for studious pusposes
Course Curriculum Overview
For Literature, I would say that the couses are apt for study and are comprehensive in nature to advancing per year or per sem even. As for Animation, it is not so much the same. Until my 3rd year, I felt as though I was studying things that were behind on the times. Especially the theory for animation which were given in PDF forms and in writting at times. As a very technical course, this should be such as it is
Internships Opportunities
I do not personally know of any. I have not submitted my name nor have I been selected for any scholarships from the college. Not to say however that the college does not provide any. No, I see every so often that my class rep forwards messages from the college on the topic of didferent scholarships available and provided by the college or by external means so to let the students know about them and to participate in them.
Fees and Financial Aid
I had a pay for the subjects I opted for as my core subjects, which are Literature and Computer Animation. Along with Animation, I had to pay for Laboratory Fees, as for using the Animation Lab. Leaving these two, I had to pay an additional fee for opting French as my subject. The payment was done annually, as per new academic year start. I would say the fee amount was fair for what I was taught and the facilities that were provided to me.
Campus Life
Very lively, I have participated in or volunteered to hoisting many events through the past two years. And I've had a very fun time in my association periods. The social life environment put in the campus too is very welcoming and I must say that I have had a more rhan fun time due to this
Admission
Personally, I chose this college due to its close proximity and its well reputation in my city. I had heard of its well and advanced Literature course and I had the opportunity to attend a course guide seminar which had a professor from The Department Of English during my PU years which made me opt for St Aloysius (Deemed To Be University)
Faculty
I'd say it's about a 150:1 or somthing ratio for each student to teacher. The teachers are very welcoming and are almost always willing to help the students in my experience. They're here for us and they do a damn well job at it. For me, it is especially so for the facility members of the Department Of English.
Night Life
I can't say I have had any experience at any night time activities related to college or any near the campus. Though I have heard and seen my friends do so. As after college, a long day that is, at 6 or 7, they go across the street and have fun while drinking juice and eating at the famous food shop "Juice".
