Course Curriculum Overview

3

The changing world toward the AI made me select these course where I can see the future heading towards. The curriculum is really not up to date till they continue taking the written exam than the practical knowledge required for the present situation. The curriculum can improve through the practical knowledge.

Internships Opportunities

3

The student get internship based on there knowledge in there field the college arranges 5-6 companies who take interview of the students and take them to intership at the sales post or the group leader post Asha organics take lot of the student to the internship with basic stippen of 3000 per month but gives the experience of the industries.

Placement Experience

2

The placement in the college are average and not to high as compared to the mediocore colleges. The lot of the students have to apply for the off campus placement rather than relying on the in campus placement. From the third year we are eligible for the placement but have to try off-campus. The highest package offered was of 11LPA and the average package was nearly 4 lpa by the asha organics. About 40-50 percentage student get placement through the in-campus. I will try off-campis placement after degree.

Fees and Financial Aid

In the first year I paid the fees of 62,508 in which 15,000 ruppes was the deposit. So the fees for the first year is 90,000 in total but we have to pay 47,508 ruppes the remaing fee is paid by the goverment through the scholarship like EWS scholarship and the OBC scholarship. In second year you have to pay 37,0000. In third year 43,000. In fourth year same 43,000. The hostel fees are 60,000 per year excluding mess fees but the Hostel is only for the first year, mess fee will be 5,000 per month. The fee for the SC,ST category is 12,000 and the remaing is paid by the goverment through the scholarship.

Campus Life

2

The overall experience in the college is good not that bad and are focusing on the social aspects there are not that club involvement, and the infrastructure provided is still going on and completed till. The college organise the fest that is ORION which consisit of different events ike sports and cultural and is held in the january month. The sports are not given the good preferanxe.

Admission

I had applied to the different colleges in the pune itself consist of the DY PATIL,COEP,PCCOE because the overall exam structure of these colleges are good, but due to the low percentile in the exam i couldnot get into these colleges. But I like the enviroment near the college and is away from the main city and is less crowded. The admission process is very simple through the two exams MHT-CET or JEE you have to get good percentile in both the exam to get in these college at the CS branch, the cutoff of for the CS is 88percentile in CET and 78 percentile in the AI&ML branch and 85 percentile for the AIDS branch.

Faculty

3

The exams are taken through the 30-70 pattern where the 30 marks paper consist of the two units and the is called the insem who's paper are checked within the college by the college faculty and are moderate level. The endsem exam consist of 4 units 3,4,5,6 of 70 marks and are checked by the other college faculties and are of moderate level. The student teacher relation in the college is good and teachers interact with student during the class. The previous faculties were more experienced then the present 1st year faculties but still are good.

Night Life

4

At night you can play basketball on the college ground and chill in the ampitheatre with your friends sitting at night and enjoy the food from the cafeterias, the college provide you the gym which is located in the college campus it has good eqipment and can be used , but you have to pay fees for it. The hostel doesnot have any timing for outing, nearby you will get the pashan hills where you can hangout.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Soo ever since kid i was interested in bikes this interest was all for me to take this course , my father is very bike enthusiast and it came down to me , i could easily take mechanical and other engineering cause these are common courses which involves automobile , but since i wanted to follow my passion , i wanted to do specialization in automobile itself and DPCOE was offering this course with great facilities and knowledge providing us a path in this lane of career in this field. According to me curriculum prepares us quite well as they conduct workshop which are relevant to outside world where we'll be working. If there were more practical workshops for us to work on would be great cause automobile engineering is all about practicals rather than theoroticals Professor should try teaching in physical part rather than taking lectures and explaining the concept by just words

Yes there is placement cell of STES which is no different than other tier 3 engineering colleges offering a tier 3 average package depending on who is the recruiter. Students become eligible for campus from 3rd year of their degree. Highest package is something around 55 lakhs offered to a computer engineering student, and average is just like I said for a tier 3 college 5-6 lakhs(above or below). Almost everyone gets placed in the company but some might not.
