I liked the environment and faculties friendliness
I liked their facility to provide every needs inside college
Their support and encouragement to achieve and participate in Hackathons

Dislikes

Their fees structure seems a little bit higher
The exam cells doesn't act same as before
Department sometimes forces students to participate on certain events

Course Curriculum Overview

The course curriculum is determined by college because they got autonomous for departments , comparing to other departments CSE Department Curriculum seems difficult as they planned to make it broader than it was instead of making it easy for students.

Class Size: 160Course Fees: INR 93000 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

Annual Fees for Government Quota is 93,000 and Management Quota is 1,25,000. Scholarship will be provided for Community based and Sports Quota Students.Any scholarship shall be applied through college once joined.

Campus Life

Regarding club involvements , Clubs are vast and they are useful to improve skills based on the choice of field students choose. Campus Life is better compared to other colleges and availability of needs and wants in college makes it better.Every rooms in classes almost has Projectors for learning virtually to make them understand easily.

Admission

My relative studied here and got placed before COVID-19. So with their referral I joined here. Currently the placements are fine but not like previous of COVID and I choose this for their friendliness of faculty comparing to other colleges who aren't that friendly for students to get engaged in studies.

Faculty

Around 5-7 Exams are there in each semester, Around 40% students fail to clear the exams overall , Exams are normal as other college but the valuation is too tough to clear the semester papers without proper internal marks

Night Life

Library and Cafeteria is fine and well. Regarding hostel it's better to choose and stay outside as the default college hostel will be not suitable for students as the food is not prepared well and hygiene is lacking.

Life and Difficulties at SRM University from honest POV

Placement Experience:

the placements start from third year. there are multiple oncampus companies that visited like juspay,zs associates, cognizant,accenture,capegemini and etc. the average package is aroung 5,00,000 the percentage of student is around 60-70 around this year but its still going on by this march.

The placements for me started from end of 3rd year itself. The highest package was around 8 LPA from Mr. Cooper with additional 2L bonus if you stayed for 2 years. Avg. package was 4 LPA. 10-15 good and decent companies visited here.

I am a sports personso i got offer in the sports quota so I went for selection trails and I got selected and chose this clg ,In all over tamilnadu in aeronautical engineering our clg places 23 rank so I chose this clg and went for admission.
