My Review For Department Of Pharmacy & SVDU.

The course curriculum is good, cause of semester wise the curriculum is of 6 months per sem. For 4 years. so it's like 8 semesters curriculum. In course curriculum all subjects contains 5 units each with each unit contains minimum 5 chapters of the related studies in the unit. The curriculum also prepares for the real world because it contains some real life subjects like industrial pharmacy, pharmaceutics, practical school and at the end these subjects contains a lab practicals which are very important into the real life applications. Nah all is good into my course and going well there's no need to changes into the course curriculum or teaching method,But just a small thing I noticed through studying these 2 years is that the practical knowledge is given less than the theoretical knowledge,but at the end the practical knowledge will be important in job aspect so my suggestion is to increase the practical knowledge into the course curriculum.so there can be balance between practical and theoretical knowledge. The timing of exams are 2 months between internals and externals are after 1 month of 2nd internal exams so it is good time and enough time to study for the exams.

Hmm I Am For Now Not Doing Internship Because I am into the third year starting but there are seniors who are getting the high posts after getting into some of the companies into the city for the internship.they are getting posts like testing the medicines, machine management, machine punctuation testing and also tablet hardness testing. That's all they are getting into the internships and there is 1 month of compalsary intership for the graduation of the course. Which is also applicable if it is done from the company which provides you idea for the future jobs that you will do.

The students in my department becomes eligible for campus placements from the 6th semester of the course means from the third year of the course. The companies who visits here are, SunPharma, Lupin, Cadila, Cipla, Elysium, BSN pharma, Apicon, Etc. And Offers From Them are Maximum of 4 lakhs per annum. For now highest package from department is From SunPharma Which Is 370000 per annum. And Average Package To The Students Is 3Lakh Per Annum. The percentage of students getting placements is less, it is 30-40% because of nervousness issues. My plans after the degree is, I might persue the masters degree of my course, OR if I will not then, There are many companies my side which are pharmaceutical companies like 200-300 companies I will take the job there and will work there at good package.

The year wise fees is 1 lakh/year. And it increased when I got admission before it's was like 90k per year. But in 2022 it increased. Registration fees is on website which is 1500?. And there is 10k deposit when you will take admission. Other charges are internal department charges which are maximum to 1k. Yes, there is separate fees for JAIN Minority Catagory Which is 90k which is less than general Catagory. There Is SSIC which is government provided program for B.pharm Students Who Wants To Invent Or Patent The New Medicine,Into This The Government Will Give The Certain Amount For Patent And Production Of Your Newly Created Medicines.

The festivals or events held here are, All Hindu related festivals are celebrated with the most joy other then that there are some events which are, PHARMASHINE- in October or November, NIRVANA-February Pharma poster Pharma Preparation These are the events held into my departments. Nirvana is the cultural event there and the PHARMA SHINE is the sports event held for every sports like indoor and outdoor. Library Here Is The Central library for all the course persuing students. There are all books possible for the availability of the course.you can get it by showing your library card borrow them for 1 week and then you have to return it. Facilities and technology in classrooms are minimum here like fans and switches and also there is a projector to study from directly from the PPT. There Are Funny And Serious Portals Which Are mAde By Students For like memes and information. One Of Them Is @svduian and other is @svdu.memes and the official and information giving portal of our department is @dop.svdu.

Hmm nice question I haven't applied for and college other then SVDU.But, I would have liked to applied for the Parul University Nearby. But I choosed this college because of it's atmosphere and study environment of the department which can't be given by other college.so at the end I ended up taking admission in SVDU and I don't regret it. Hmm and as I said I never applied for other colleges because I was sure that this college will be good and best for me and it is that's why I got admission here. Admission process is, First you have to register onto their website portal. Then they will give you queue no. And than which course you are picking will call you and ask about your details and will give you specific date for the submission of the documents. And then you have to give advance checks for fees per sem and it's done you will get admission letter after some days and you are in. Eligibility is 12th pass with 50 percentage in the science stream. Exams accepted are GUJCET , 12th board exams. Most preferred exam by students to admission here is GUJCET or 12th board exams. There is no entrance exam into the university but if they have more than enough students then they will definitely take the entrance exams to take admission of best students.

The faculty is very supportive they even will encourage you and all in your bad times. And the relationship with all teachers is also good which is a good thing into the department. You can ask everything to them even if it is your personal matter you can trust and talk to them. The best faculty or teacher I liked is DILIP Das Sir (DKD sir). NOW the exams, There Are 2 sessional exams by college and 1 external exam to pass the semester,the sessionals are at the medium difficulty and the externals are quite difficult but if you study well you can pass them. There are just like 6-7 Students who don't study well actually are failed in exams. And the course curriculum is also good!!

I don't live into the Hostel But I Know Some Things I Know About Them, The GYM Is the place here with all the equipments and things which is open for whole day and closes at the 9PM at night. For cafeteria there is for the hostelites which opens for them at 8AM at morning And Closes At 10PM at night. Libraries are open for 24x7 for the hostelites who likes to study whole night. The timing for prohibition for roaming in campus or outside for all is after the 10PM. Some of famous hangout places for me is Cafeteria near The MBBS and The One Near The Hospital Which are inside the University. Other than that there are many shops outside of the university which provides good food.
