A variety of topics such as pharmacology, pharmaceutical chemistry, and pharmacognosy. pharmaceuticals and quality assurance are taught. the curriculum is regularly updated to include new research findings emerging technologies and trends in the pharmaceutical industry. there is a focus on internships and practical training which helps bridge the gap between theory learned in class and real-world application.
Internships Opportunities
the college fails to provide good internship opportunities to the students for B.pharm as a course. it has been providing internships in the hospital in the college to students of other courses, students are expected to do internships on their own.

Admission
this is the highest NAAC accreditation college in Gujarat and is also close to my hometown. this college has its own hospital and pharmaceutical store which makes it helpful for us. This college solely focuses on medical and paramedical courses thus more focus on my course. I haven't applied for other colleges and Sumandeep Vidyapeeth was my only choice of admission and luckily I got the admission. The admission process for us in 2020 started in November due to COVID but in current batches, admission starts in July itself. Interested students have to register themselves on the SVDU official website with all their credentials and details. after meeting the eligibility they are required to appear for an examination for admission to the course. However, this examination was not the part of admission process in 2020 when I was taking the admission. Eligibility Criteria: Students should have a minimum of 50% in SSC from a recognized board in the SCIENCE discipline.
Faculty
The faculty-to-student ratio is around 1:10 . All the faculty and staff members are helpful towards us and they are always available for the students in need. some faculties are quite busy due to their research work but if need may they will always try to reschedule their days according to the requirements. Dr, A.K. Seth Sir, the head of our department has a reputation in pharmaceutics. Many of the faculty members are skilled and few of the best teachers in their respective fields. They provide exceptional guidance according to their experience and will always look for what is best for us. Each semester consists of 2 internal examinations for both theory and practical and one external examination for both theory and practical. the internal exam is easy to moderately difficult while external examinations are moderate to high difficulty. The course curriculum includes all the required stuff for someone who aspires to be a pharmacist.
