Life at Acharya

I belong to ISE stream which is quite good and the examination is conducted by VTU Belagavi. In First Sem we see a lot of unwanted subjects like English, Kannada, Chemistry etc which are no related to the ISE stream. We have IDT classes which inspires the students to get into the Start-ups and provides the information about the challenges which we face if we start a start-up

Placements here in my college are Decent. If you belong to top branches like CSE,ISE,AI&ML you get a good chance to crack good companies and very high packages. Faculties will connect you to the people who are currently working in Big companies so you can get referral from them. College provides soft skills training from the beginning of First semester till the last semester. College has a lot of collaboration with companies and teaching firms which helps the students during placement times. The highest package offered during the year 2024 was 65LPA and the Average package of CSE,ISE and AI&ML is 12+LPA

The college fees through K-CET is 107495 and the hostel fees vary from 125k-325k. The college campus is quite big it's around 120 Acre and the faculty is quite interactive and they help us if we face some kind of problem. College is anti-ragging free and senior here are chill.

The Acharya is also famous for it's Feast and Cultural Events. Here a lot of famous celebrities visit during an event. College infrastructure is too good we have a 120 Acer of campus so we have different buildings for different departments. College infrastructure is yet new so you get recently constructed. We get elevators in all department blocks and they all work well. Classes are equipped with smart boards as well as white board. Whole campus is equipped with WiFi and labs are well maintained and all the PCs inside the lab are in working condition.

In hostel you can have single, double and triple sharing room which start from 125k to 325k. The food here is like ok-ok you get both veg and non veg food. Non veg is provided weekly 4 times and you get Gobi Manchurian, Fruit Salad, Sweet once in a week, we get paneer weekly 4 times and we get daily Milk/Tea in breakfast. In breakfast sometimes we get Dosa,Idli, Noodles, Uttapam, And variety of Rices. We get laundry service by the hostel we can put 6kg of clothes for 15 times in a year. There are lot of security guards. Room are daily cleaned by the workers. The wardens are also quite responsive.

I got 31032 rank in my K-CET which is quite good at that rank I can get the Civil, Chemical, Mechanical, Biotechnology like branchs in top colleges of Karnataka as I was totally intrested in Tech field i choosed ISE of Acharya over them. I have got BIT college VLSI course as it is new course for Bachelors and I was not that interested in Other fields than IT. I got a good rank in VITEEE exam i could have got CSE in VIT VELLORE but that college is over crowded (6k intake in CSE & CSE related courses)as well as it is quite strict and the fees of that college is also 15+Lakhs

Faculty members are mostly completed there PhD or they are pursuing there PhD. Some of the faculty members have graduated or worked with the top institutes of India. Some faculties have foreign experiences also. My Chemistry Lecturer is PhD from IISc Bangalore and he had a visit to Japan for his research purpose. My Electrical lecturer did his masters from SDM Dharwad. My math's lecturer has 12+Year of teaching experience to Engineering students.

The canteen inside the campus will close at 11. The Library also closes around 11 at normal days and during exam time it's open till 1 am. College also provides Gym inside the campus which is well equipped. Faculty members will be present in college till 5 PM. There are lot of Bakery and Canteens outside the college campus which will be open till the morning of 3 AM. Acharya's night life is so safe for girls. There will be so many events which take place in college campus till late night at 11 and security guards will be present all over the campus to maintain the discipline.
