A student review on SRM UNIVERSITY

In current world technology has been so advanced that fascinated me to choose for computer science nd technology as a career option. SRM provided huge no. Of seats in CSE branch along with numerous specializations. From my pov teachers especially in maths nd coding should lay more focus on making concept clear rather than just completing course.

Mostly after the 6th semester students who have good cgpa as well as highly talented get the intern from top MNC's. According to my knowledge the companies that commonly visits SRM are TCS, INFOSYS, ACCENTURE,COGNIZANT, DELOITTE, TECH MAHINDRA AND MANY OTHER.... The highest placement till date is 1CR that is offered by Amazon.

So the yearly fees for btech(CSE) is 4.75 Lakhs per year that includes all the facilities apart from that we have to pay semester fees separately. The scholarship amount provides concession in the tution fees depending upon the CGPA you scored. Currently am not having any scholarship according to my rank in SRMJEE

The annual fest MILAN is among one of the best university fest....there are several mini gests as well like, RENDEZVOUS ,AARUSH ,MINI MILAN ETC. SRM has over 100 clubs and groups in all fields like technology, corporate, events, sponsorship,sports,gaming etc.

The hostel rooms are quite good ac rooms are spacious and control is in the hands of students only. Food is not so bad like eatable only....as the north indian face bit challenge in fooding due to the difference in culture and food habits of south India. I've rented a PG nearby to SRM back gate

I applied colleges like IIITH, VIT AND KIIT.... In IIIT H I couldn't qualify the reap paper that lead me to rejection rest other i didn't had much interest according to my needs and requirements. In srm you've to give srm jee and qualify it which is quite easy.

Faculty to student ratio would be apparently 2:3 as srm has abundant number of students in its main campus. The exam level is quite tricky nd challenging internals are bit hard but marking is lineant.
