Course Curriculum Overview

5

My decision for choosing this course after taking drop from B.tech 3rd year is much positive as I have taken part in such a course which in which they really focus on the academic knowledge of each-and-every subjects rather than the workshops or boring trainings which are not at all useful in future. The curiculum prepares us so much to compete in this competitive world,as we are learning the things to increase our skills and knowledge also for the upcoming jobs in business and management.

Internships Opportunities

5

The companies like Pfizer, Accenture, Genpact, Infosys came to our college for visit, and also the students are being prepared for the interview. After, the interview, the students work in internship program with the company where they also work and gain that social-exposure and real-industry environment needed for the students, and they learn so many things about the work and skills. They also get a stipend for their working in internship with the company for their duration.

Placement Experience

5

The campus - placements rate is good as far as our councellors said. The alumni - network is also so good, as students placed in biggest firms, carrying so much skills and intelligence. Their interaction is also made to students in the 3rd year. Also ,the students get placed in the four big P's , like Pfizer and all big multinationals ,also various other companies such as Accenture ,Genpact ,Infosys came and also training is done so students are prepared for interview and one- on-one interaction with these firms. It's the brightest moment of the life. The internship starts in 3rd year ,also these big firms visit in last year. My plan after getting the degree is to pursue MBA or prepare for bank and clerk exams. And ,get a well - placed job.

Fees and Financial Aid

I have taken part in the BBA 3-year course. It has the following course fees structure : 1st Year : 40,000(1st + 2nd Semester) 2nd Year : 40,000(3rd + 4th Semester) 3rd Year : 22,200(5th + 6th Semester) I had paid my 1st year fees,as right now I'm in 2nd Semester. My exams will be in January,2025. The registration fees is 5,000 + 15,000 for the tuition fees of 1st semester and then rest is from the above fees structure. The fees is increased from the July 2024 session as I have taken admission in the Jan 2024 session. My batchmates are getting discount of 15% who are Army children, staff personnel or NRI students. There is also 5% discount for those who pay the whole fees in one time i. e. 1,02,200/-Rs.

Campus Life

5

There are not any annual function held in the college as far as I know, because as we take classes online,so their is no annual function of the college, but there are various meetings with big personalities held and also there is a student-exchange program held in Dubai from our college in which several parts of Dubai are explored and students get to know about it.It is a 4-day trip, also the students have accesss to the vast library where there is so many books on each and every topic of different field. The students is also given access to the swayam-portal where they can watch the recorded lectures at any time, with the pace of their home and convenience. This is the best-suitable feature,I think, any college or university can give. Also, this portal is certified by the government, various other universities also offer courses on this platform like IGNOU.It is very good platform for students to work also and learn also for their enhancement in profession or business without leaving their work. So,in this way also,it's the best university in online education in India.

Admission

I had applied to B.tech(Civil) in JECRC College,Jaipur. But ,due to their toxic environment ,ragging ,no student-teacher interaction and the low concentration towards studies ,lead me to chronic anxiety disorders ,which the faculty and students don't provide me ,even as the sake of teachers. My overall experience was worst there, which I felt and wouldn't recommend any one this college.I even want to leave this as soon as after passing the 1st Semester, but due to the overall pressure of making a engineering degree,I continued till 3rd year. Then,I quit. My interest towards business increases and I wanted to do something in this field. So,I grabbed my admission here in Dr.D Y Patil College,Pune. The councellor mam was so nice. She,told me each and every important aspect of the college in easy way. So,I felt very nice. She's such a great councellor after that all the teachers taught so well, and I really liked the flexibility of here. So,I felt that it is one of the best decision of my life. There is no any particular exam for the college. As my percentage in 12th class is good, I get admission in this. Also, students can opt for whichever their interest in,and enquire about it .They give a quick reply to each of the queries regarding admission. My admission process was smooth-like-butter.

Faculty

4

The faculty-to-student ratio is 1:200.All the teachers taught their subjects in so depth manner as their knowledge is so sharp and the lectures are conducted on zoom meetings, the link is provided one hour before the lectures and also the recorded lectures are available for those who failed to attend due to any reason. I really like my concellor mam Ms.Rupali Gawande. She's such a nice councellor who got me clear each-and-every thing before admission when I'm so tensed. She's such a councellor that every student needed. Then,in my faculty also,Mr.Sohel Kangg Sir taught us every chapter in a easy way that we can understand it in one-lecture only.Also,Mrs.Neema Gandhi mam,she taught each and evey thing in detail of her subject, and makes the difficult subject ,so eay to understand. All the faculties, are giving their 100% however, some of the teachers just taught their subject with no engagement from students and like a formality.Like,Mr.Vikas Pawar Sir,he taught his subject like no one is listening,he wanted to cover the syllabus, whether we are getting knowledge from it or not.Also,Ms.Kanika Godani Mam,she always seem tired while giving lectures as she doesn't want to give. And,even leave some important topics on us only to read and understand.Also,Mr.Ganesh Datere Sir,he only taught from the ppt of each chapter, not from the book as he don't have to explain a long form of each chapter. The exam pattern for each semester is 70:30 from which 70 marks for the mcqs and theory and 30 marks for the assignment of each subject. There are only absent students who failed to clear the subject as based on the teaching of each faculty, every exam is easy to pass.

Placement Experience:

Placement cell is quite good. Students are eligible for placement in their last semester of course. There are many great companies that come like JP MORGAN, EY, KPMG. Average package of the college is 5-6 lacs but there are high packages according to the skills of the student. I'd like to go for master's after BMS. Different kind of roles are there for students to apply according to their interests in all the fields like finance, marketing, HR, consulting. There is training provided by the college for placemens and there is personal training for individual company interviews if required by students.
