An Insight of AIIMS RAJKOT

The curriculum is based upon the guidelines provide by NMC but the college additionally teaches some aspects and topic to involve you into society and enable you to become a good human being first and secondly a doctor.

The internship provided to UG students of AIIMS RAJKOT only, which is in it's campus only. No rotatory program with other colleges. You wil be posted in different departments for a period of 12 months on rotation basis.

A 5.5 yrs fee is taken in a single deposit i.e., 5896 rupee only (Same for all categories). Along with this an additional amount of INR 20,000 is taken as security deposit which is refundable. Hostel accommodation is free as the charges are included in the tution fee itself. The mess service costs you INR 5900/month and you need to deposit an advance amount of 6 months at the time of additional, thereafter the college will collect mess fee every 4 monthly. The college provides Bus service to go to Academic block and Hospital. No scholarship provided from college side but you can apply for the scholarship offered by the central govt. which varies as per your categories.

Annual fest of AIIMS RAJKOT is named "ANUGOONJ" conducted every year, but time of conducting is not fixed. The campus life is good. You can olay many games like cricket,futsal, badminton, Volleyball etc. But the campus is not fully developed. Also their nothing to explore in campus except books. You will find it difficult to go for trip and all due to the course and secondly; they will not give you leaves to go to your home if you don't have a proper reason .

Free accommodation provided here. One room is given which is shared between two students. They provide a bed, a mattress with pillow, an almirah ,one chair and one table along with a bookshelf in room. The mess food is quite good compared to other mess and you have to choose the mess if you are residing in hostel. Their's no option to eat any other thing. You can't cook here. The mess fee is 5900/month. And it is deposited firstly an advance of 6 months and then every 4 monthly. Registration is simple as you just need to fill your details in the given form and sign it.

The admission process is by Counseling conducted by NMC which is based on rank you got in NEET-UG exam. I choose the college because it was near by my state and also their is not service bond after MBBS as in other colleges.

The faculties are very good here. You can't approach the ED directly or indirectly, but rest of faculties are available everytime if you want to discuss anything with them and they are very helpful except few. Can't mention the name of faculties beacuse of college rule regarding social media uses but there's faculties in Departments like G. Medicine, G. Surgery, Orthopedics, Physiology, Pediatrics, Ophthalmology, which made me to fall into the love of their subjects because the way of their teaching is something which i can't describe. The exams are like their will be Part ending test after completing each unit and then a mid term in between the semester and then semester exams. After that their will be pre-proff and proff exams. Total 3 proff exams are their i.e; 1st, 2nd and final proff.
