What Students Say?
Likes
- The infrastructure is appreciable. It is up to date and has various e resources for students as well. We're also given a free of cost book bank for each semester, saving our money when it comes to buying books.
- The campus is very clean. It is well maintained and the classes and labs are all having smart boards and multimedia integration
Dislikes
- The curriculum can be a bit off track but it happens in almost every college
- Students can be a bit more diligent and disciplined. There's a lack of discipline on both the sides.
Course Curriculum Overview
The curriculum is in accordance to the NEP and includes various subjects. It not only includes business related subjects but also focuses on overall development of the students and includes subjects like indian ethos, statistics, gst, etc. One has various opportunities to learn and grow given the vast curriculum.
Internships Opportunities
I personally have no experience of being provided an internship by the institute but i do have my friends who've had so. Tech Mahindra hired two students for an internship last year and they were quite happy with it. Internships are also provided in ngos for greater social initiative and learning.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions
Our institute offers courses for BBA at 1.5 lakh/ yr. This amount keeps on increasing 5% as you get promoted to the next year. Along with this, the students are required to pay additional exam fees which are around 5k.
Campus Life
We have two major events over the year, one during summers and one during winters. They are 2-3 days events and contain multiple activities, creating a vibrant and lively atmosphere around campus. We are issues a book bank containing all the books required over the semester along with a bunch of e-resources with unique id and passwords, allowing greater access to increase our knowledge. Interactive sessions take place daily and smartboards are used in every lecture to enhance the teaching process. There are various teams for basketball, volleyball, etc and imed has one of the top basketball teams in their area. We have NSS, entrepreneurship development club, drama club, etc. Which keep students busy and their lives enjoyable and fun.
Admission
I applied to most colleges abroad, where in i got admitted to university of Michigan but couldn't go due to certain personal issues. I chose this college due to its reputation and its ratings, it even has an A+ from NAAC itself. The admission process is quite simple. Apply online, with 75% of high school scores and then appear for the bvdu entrance exam which is quite simple.
Faculty
The faculty is really nice and friendly. They're great problem solvers and help immensely with anything you go to them with. There are three major exams over the year - mid sem, end sem and university exams. End term exams are objective based and are given online and are much easier than the rest, giving students an opportunity to score more or make up for previous scores.
