Likes

Timely completion of syllabus. The college finished their syllabus on time due to which students get a sufficient amount of time to study for the final exams.
Practical training in good. Staff are cooperative.
They conduct various extracurricular activities for a change.

Dislikes

Attendanced should be 75%. No defaulters are entertained.

Course Curriculum Overview

Curriculum is designed to cover all aspects of Pharmacy knowledge. However i would suggest that more practical and real world problems be included in the curriculum. The frequency and timing of exams are perfect for study.

Class Size: 100Course Fees: INR 137487 per year

Internships Opportunities

A lot of companies offer internship. some of them are Meyer organics pvt ltd, Reptakos, Wincoat- readymix for coating, Kremoint, Pharmax, Cipla, etc. Some companies provide a stipend of 3000 to 5000 rs while others do not.

Placement Experience

Campus placements are provided by the college every year in the 8th semester. The package provided ranges from 2,40,000LPA to 4,20,000 LPA. Most of the students are getting the placement. My plan is to perceive masters.

Fees and Financial Aid

year wise fees ranges from 1.36L to 1.38L (general quota). the fees for OBS and few reserved quotas is 75000 to 85000 and for TFWS, ST, SC its around 18000 to 20000. Various Scholarships are also available if you want to avail them.

Campus Life

Almost all the festivals are celebrated in the college. Ganesh chaturthi, diwali pooja, navratri, Christmas and new year party etc are celebrated in the college. Aside from these, many sports activities and sports day, cultural days are also celebrated.

Admission

I applied to Bombay college of pharmacy, Santa Cruz as well as Vivekanand education society's college of pharmacy, Chembur. I confirmed admission in this college because it eas closer to my house and i had received good reviews from my seniors.

Faculty

Faculty is highly educated. 90% teachers have a PHD and are helpful and understanding. The internal exams conducted are good enough and helps you prepare well for the university exam. Some faculties are rude but most of them are helpful.

I love to study chemical reactions and also, it is a professional course so that's the reason I choose this course. The teachers are understanding but sometimes there gets some issues if the classes are not regular. Just attended 1st year due to the corona period so not sure about it. There is two sessional exams in a year and it is not at all though we can easily pass out it.

Placement Experience:

From 7 and 8th sem students are eligible. For campus placement. Cognizant package - 4-5 lakhs. Profiles - junior associate research, IQVIA - for centralized monitoring assistant. Synergen Bio Pvt. Ltd - Trainee research associate. Tata consultancy -Senior process associate. Hetero drugs Hyderabad -Junior research associate. Neuvocare -business executive 3 students get placed. Spring nature technology and publishing solution Pune - 2 students for junior scientists and medical writers. Ascentric research Pune - 1 student for clinical research. Package - 4 lakhs. Cipla - 2 students therapy manager/ Package - 6 lakhs. This year in the cognizant highest package is 7 lakhs. Almost all the MPharm students get placed in the best companies. The percentage is 70 -80 % are placed in nice pharmaceutical companies. My plans after my degree are I will clear the g-pat and I will do my master and then with completing PhD.

Remarks:

Negative - The fee of college is more so try to for minimum amount because poor people are not able to pay this amount. Positive - The best things are present in the college. The teachers are also good at teaching.

Remarks:

Overall college is best for knowledge as well as social work done through NSS or ABVP Campus is very nice and large in size. The college is good and would rate 8 out of 10. As I am admitted in direct second year B. Pharmacy this year itself, I didn't get much time to explore more about the campus and the college. But the college is overall good & having beautifully designed & maintained. It is located in the good scenic locality. Huge campus. Great faculty.

So to get admission in a Master of Pharmacy in any of the specializations you have to take the GPAT for Government and Non-Government College (Except) NIPER for that you have to be GPAT qualified.
