Course Curriculum Overview

3

The curriculum covers all the topics depicted in the particular semester with depth in knowledge and building conceptual framework.Power point presentation are used to demonstrate a particular concept/topic for betterment in understanding of students.Several activities are conducted for the same . As a suggestion, involvement of all the students should be prioritise Exams are conducted in a gap of month with moderate difficulty and may be scheduled and informed to students prior 2 weeks

Economical weaker section (EWS) Tuition fee waiver scheme (TFWS) For( hostel) 1.All India Jain scholarship ( for jain students) 2.CB chajjed scholarship 3.Punjab rao deshmukh scholarship

Campus Life

4

Freshers party and cultural events are conducted once in a year typically in the month immediately after the admission of students. The college provides a vast library with more than 10000+ books and ease of accessibility. Sports events are conducted once in the year in the month of December. Class representatives , cultural head and sports head assigned who's role is to act as a bridge of communication between the students and faculty members.

Hostel Facilities

4

There are 3 hostel available in the nearby area with variable fee structure. I am currently residing in RMD hostel with a annual fee structure of 67000. The hostel rooms are spacious with availability of a standing porch. Each room consist of 2 compartments and each compartment is alloted to 2 students. Water and electricity facilities are available throughout 24hr with no powercut The only problem stand out to be is the meal which is major concern . The food lacks variety and nutrition. Involves repetitive menu and undercooked food and lack of fresh ingredients like vegetables. Registation process is quite easy and affordability is moderate.

Admission

I cracked MHTCet examinations with a 97.32 percentile. This college was on the highest priority since it is a minority college for jain students.Several benefits are availed to jains and this made me to choose this college over others. I opted for several other colleges and got selected in the very first round due to high merit but wanted to stick to my priority and thus choose this college. The admission process is bit lengthy but faculty members assist students for the entire process which helps for the same. The cutoff for jain students is comparatively very low compared to students of other categories

Faculty

4

Faculty members - 20 The faculties are easyly approachable.Question and answer sessions are created leading to better understanding of students regarding a particular concept/topic. Personally ,Asst. Prof Yunus Ansari is my favourite. He always motivates the students for competitive exams , provides extra knowledge ( with textual concepts) and creates a friendly environment. To very honest, for me every faculty has led to some development , may be in terms of knowledge or in terms of personality, so it is difficult to dislike any of them. Three sessional examinations are conducted with a moderate difficulty. The ratio of students failing the exam is low (1:10) The curriculum covers essential areas such as pharmacology, pharmacognosy, medicinal chemistry, pharmaceutics, Additional there is focus on regulatory affairs and pharmacovigilance.

Other Applied Colleges

Placement Experience:

The placements for the masters are not so much. Impressive. Since there are few of the companies visiting the campus every year as compared to the number of students eligible for the campus placements, companies do visit the campus but the placement offers made by them are very low as compared to what they have spent on the college fees. Also, same goes for the bachelor students.

Placement Experience:

Yearly most students give good placement from college. Placement depends on the result of the final year and the performance of the student. Many good job offers are available after completing this course. According to previous students, they have 7-15 lakh package. So many pharmaceutical companies are offered for students who pass out from this college. If students pass out with first-class and DICSTINTION they definitely achieve good placement. I want to work in a professional company after completing my course.
