The rajalakshmi institute of technology following Anna university curriculum. There's are 2013 regulation and 2017 regulation currently going on .the exam structure is a common one among all Anna university affiliated colleges.

There are plenty of labs as required in the campus.there is a great sports team in rit.and they give importance to clean and green campus with many initiative and nss.there is a great cricket team football team in rit and also in all other sports team.

The hostel infrastructure is very good.there are seperate hostel for boys and girls.there are totally 4 hostel blocks.all are in good condition.but the hostel food is not so good.its only below average.
