Likes
- Management is very strict which is a good thing, they give very good support to students than other colleges.
- No alcohol or cigarettes are allowed inside the campus, so it's tobacco free campus
- Faculty support and friendliness towards the students. Faculty student ratio is also good, having around 1:20
Dislikes
- Hostel students cannot exit college until warden approve your home or day pass.
- Non veg or any type of outside food is not allowed inside the college.
- Since it is very reputed deemed University, fees is comparatively high If you don't have scholarship.
Course Curriculum Overview
Since it is deemed University, the curriculum is updated every 4 years, based on the modern needs and technology which getting updated every day. Each semester will have 90 working days (minimum) exclusive of the end sem exam schedule
Internships Opportunities
There are so many companies which give internship opportunities to the students of amrita. Placement internship is handled by cir department which is shared for 3rd and 4th year students. Department signed companies directly have connection with department directly and provide internship for all the students in 2nd and 3rd year students.
Placement Experience
From the 6th semester, students are allowed to sit for placements and company exams. CIR department which gives us placement details and advice and training to clear the each round of the placement drive.
Fees and Financial Aid
Based on the AEEE Entrance, you will get your scholarship. But you have maintain the CGPA every year to have the same fees slab for the next year. Getting 0.01 less than the set value may get you more fee slab or having an arrear.
Campus Life
You will have a peaceful life inside the campus. It is best for people who want to connect with other states and country people since so many foreigners and other outside state people come here for studies.
Hostel Facilities
Hostel room will be good, for first 3 years you will get 4 accommodation room, for final year you will be getting single accommodation room. It has all basic features like hot water in morning, a good wifi, daily cleaned floor and bathrooms.
Admission
I have applied for so many colleges, but I thought this college is near to my home town for easy access and it has a very good chill climate. This college has best ranking as per nirf rankings. So I have chosen this for my career path.
Faculty
Since is deemed University, paper questions and answer corrections are done by the department faculties. Exam paper and corrections for final end sem and midterm is very strict. 2 out of every 50 students have arrear in their first and second years
