Likes

Some of the teachers are very co operative and helpful too.
Many canteens are present in the college with quality food

Dislikes

The ground size is small for games like cricket and football
The college doesn't help you in the case of internals

Course Curriculum Overview

I was passionate about programming so I opted to join this college for engineering . The college focuses on aktu syallabus and less focus on training or programming. Each semester a student has to give numerous exams along with labs and practicals.

Class Size: 60Course Fees: INR 130100 per year

Placement Experience

Mass recruiters like TCS, Cognizant, Accenture visit the college for mass hiring . Various startup companies also come to the college for hiring few students (less than 10) Due to recession it has become tougher for getting placed

Fees and Financial Aid

1st year fees-138600 2nd year fees-128600 3rd year fees-128600 4th year fees-128600 Admission fees and Security fees(5000) are submitted in the first year itself. Schlorship is provided by the UP government for various caste.Also a central govt schlorship for girls is provided.

Campus Life

Overall the college campus is decent. Various clubs are present in the college for different events.Some clubs are run to help and educate the poor. Various tech fest are conducted in the college among which GENERO is the best.

Admission

In the first round of aktu counselling i got ECE in Ajay Kumar Garg EC. In the second round i got CSE(Data Science) in ABESEC though i wished to get IT in Ajay Kumar Garg Engineering College. Also IT in KIET would have been good.

Faculty

Some of the faculty are very experienced and teach according the aktu curriculum.Though some of the faculty lack good teaching skills.Overall there are 3 internal exams in the college and 1 university exam every semester.

College life and it's reality

Placement Experience:

Highest package in our college is 50-60 lpa meanwhile average package is 7-8 lpa and many people don't even sit for placements as they have another plans like higher education or buisness but placement percentage is around 70 -80 percent

The course curriculum is well designed and proper lile any course should be, the academic experience it provides is enough to be for the real world. They do 3 exams before the semester AKTU exams which are perfect for the preparation for it.

Placement ls are pretty decent as per the recession but still not that impressive i will say 50% students are getting placed till now but i can say the placement are still not normal so at this time we can hope for the best

Placement Experience:

There are many placements opportunities provided by the campus. Many companies like samsung, google visit the campus but only take the top candidates. Highest package offered last year was around 33 LPA and average package is around 7-8 LPA. Almost everyone gets placement after the course so thats a good thing.

Placement Experience:

Campus placement is offered in college but not all students get on campus placement only some students get and others have to search for off campus placement you have to be in top 10 in your branch to get a on campus placement as the competition is very high

Placement Experience:

From 7th Semster Students are eligible to sit in the Campus placements. Students are eligible only if they have 8CGPA in every year. In past there were many companies like Amazon , adobe , Mahindra and many more , Highest on campus placement was of 56Lac/year , Average placement : around 5lac/year. Around 20% students are really placed in this college. My personal opinion is to get a job from either outside or oncampus placement and save for my Masters to do it from abroad.

After Completing of 5th Semester Student can Eligible to join the company and if Student have Skills and Knowledge they can get multiple opportunities. Many Company Visited in our College Campus like Novoinvent, HUULKE, WIPRO, INFOSYS, TCS, VIRTUAL EMPLOYEE, GRANT THORTON and Many more. Highest Package of Our College is 8 lpa and it is depend of Students Capibility and Average Package is 3 lpa. 50-60% students got placement and lastly I wanna say is that It's not depend on College it's depend on Students. Our College provide best resource to placemnet. After Completing my graduation I want to continue my career in IT Industry.

Sweet and Salty Journey of GCET.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I Preferred this course because I saw a great scope in this. Artificial Intelligence is our future so it is having great scope for the future. Faculty: Student Ratio is Good means the no. of Teachers is enough for every course. They all are having good qualifications and are very helpful. The term exams were quite easy and you will not find any difficulty in passing.

I took admission by jee mains and counselling by josaa and cut off is expected for cse is around 80+ percentile And for other branches 70+. if you want to take admission you can also take direct mode by your 12th marks but they offer only Non-CS branches in direct mode and now CSE core is only the main branch which has 1000 seats basically they combined all the other CS branches into one....Read More
