Course Curriculum Overview

4

The aspect of Mbbs that influenced me to choose the course is that it's a social service. We are serving common people here . We don't care about their status, relegion, power or anything while someone is dying. As for my college the clinical exposure they gives us are more than enough to become an experienced doctor.

Internships Opportunities

4

Intership is done in our own hospital government medical College Dindigul itself. Where you can have exposure to many type of disease in every department including OG , pediatrics, Ortho, dermatology etc

Fees and Financial Aid

Our Tution fee was 18000/- including caution fees reg fee , University fee, library fee etc it'll be around 23000 for first year. Exam fees for first year is 11000/- . Along the course for 2nd yr Tution fee 8000 , exam fee 13700/- . For 3rd yr Tution fee 7000, Exam fee 8480/- ,For 4th yr Tution fee 6000 to 7000 , exam fee 165000/-. For hostel during first yr we have to pay caution deposit 37000 ( for 4½ yr) out of which 20000 will be refunded. Per month we have to pay 5000 to 6000.

Campus Life

3

Our infrastructure is one of the best you can get for a government medical College. Also there is well equipped laboratories for each subject . Sports are conducted intra college and inter college. Therevare are alot of extracurricular activities conducted by different departments.

Hostel Facilities

4

In a room there is 3 Iron cots and 3 big shelves. Each shelves have 4 rows . Meals are typical South Indian food. And quality is average to good depends on the day . Registration process is quiet easy as we just need to fill a form and can be admitted on the first day .

Admission

Since our admission is based on neet all India rank i got this college through allotment only . It's not that I choose this over other colleges I just got this . But there is some colleges I acoided due to their less number of patients and beds .

Faculty

3

We have total 24 internal assessment for first year. They are easy to difficult depends on the chapters. For first year only one student failed in one subject. Core medical knowledge can be attained through all these internals . And there is exams for clinical posting also

Course Curriculum Overview:

the course is very challenging obviously as we're studying to become doctors. it could've been better by increasing the duration of the course. our first year/ semester instead of it being for 12 months was only of 9-10 months so our portions are being pushed a little. it happened due the scam etc around neet and our course start date was pushed. the course could be made easier by increasing the duration of the course. we have exams every week which does make it easier to keep up with the portions but makes it too stressful for us. maybe instead of keeping exams on monday they could change it to saturday so we can relax and be free on sundays.
