- The College is now days working on its infrastructure works by providing rooms for girls as the common room, providing onboarding NSS ,etc
- Working on its placement opportunities for students by connecting with the alumni's and inviting companies for different profiles just like Axis Bank
- The Faculties are very learned as far as the B.Com is concered , as the mentoring and methods of them as very great which had increase our grabbing speed .
Dislikes
- The Classroom need to be more ventilated and furnished with new technological changes.
- The Campus location is not so good but the inside campus is better
- As far as Course curriculum is concerned it needs little changes.
Course Curriculum Overview
As far as the basic concepts of Financial accounting, Auditing, Economic and 2-3 more subject concered helped us in many building blocks of Financee domain person in future like me . The Curriculum need to work in practical understanding of students through assignments or and manadatory activities in each subject . The teaching method is no problem they just need to add practical angel in it. The frequency of exams is 2 in a year .
Placement Experience
When I was in colleg last year we recieved information about the placement in Jagran which was a new thing as The Jagran College has itiated itt first time through CSJM University placement cell. The Companies visited are related to marketing, banking and BPS. The average package is between 2.5 LPA to 5 PLA . Highest from our college was 5 LPA .
Fees and Financial Aid
The yearly fees what I paid is Rs.12,000 per year but in current it is Rs. 15,000 per year. Based the category wise for General, OBC and SC/ST varies based on the scholarships from NSP portal or state scholarship portal. The prospectus and registration fees when i took the admission was Rs. 1,200 plus tax when which admission form was there attached . Scholarship opportunities are aviable of government ones, from any other ways but not from college as per vays are concerd.
Campus Life
When I was in second years the college approved for having NSS for students on Voluntarily basis, in collaboartion with EI&ACT Academy of student Programme from IIT Kanpur in different domain at rupees 200-250 . SO if we see college was bringing great opportunities. There were different clubs for students for cultural and sports, etc. events.
Admission
If we go eligibilty criteria of this college is very simple is to get the passing marks in 10 th and 12 th with all basic document . The main priority to take admission to this college is the quality of faculty , nearness from my house and return of investment in terms of placement was very good.
Faculty
The student to Faculty ratio is 8:2 and faculties are approachable and good quality faculty. The most liked faculty by me is Dr. Kamal Vinod of finance area as well as dean. There are total 6 eams in the full B.Com college 2 per year . One internals and one external center based. The exam both varies from easy to moderate . The curse curriculum is very much relevant to course .
