Course Curriculum Overview

5

The Schedule of MBBS is hectic as it is a professional degree and in my opinion it must be the same. You have to feel the pressure in real to tackle the things in emergency. You must get through it. The journey of MBBS is way more difficult than NEET for sure. The curriculum is best designed and amended for clinical basis. You only learn things that you must must know for the clinics. The hospital and cadavers are the best teachers. Although they should take those subjects on ease which are less utilised in clinics.

Internships Opportunities

4.5

The internship is provided in the hospital situated in campus itself where the clinical posting also held in each year. But internship year includes no theory classes. Internship year is hectic but it is the most crucial one.

Fees and Financial Aid

Tuition for 1st four years is 180000 per year For last year it is 90000 Other charges every year includes Hostle - 19000 Electrical - 9000 University fee- 3350 Amalgamated - 1500 Note - At time of admission refundable amount of 36000 has to be paid. For NRI category everything is same as above Just add 12500 US dollars with this amount given

Campus Life

4.5

The annual fest is named MANIA which last for a week. The annual sports meet is named HUSTLE which lasts for a month or half and includes all indoor and outdoor games in it. Hustle is followed by MANIA in March and April every year. Also Freshers takes place near these months. For these months are of great relied to stressful life of a medico ...and it is like a festival for a month... These are the best days of college as there are no exams upcoming. Everything is chill. The campus has well furnished and fully AC library to study. Another academics library is also there which provide every single book related to the curriculum. Classrooms are also fully AC and has mic and projector facility to teach masses.

Hostel Facilities

3.5

For 1st there is double sharing room. It includes 2 beds, 2 almirah, 2 chair, 2 table, a fan, a balcony with nice scenery in which you can place a cooler. AC is not allowed. Common washroom is provided for a floor. Also an water cooler for drinking water. There is separate hostle for 2nd 3rd and 4th year with triple sharing double sharing and option for single room respectively. For internship you get a double sharing room with attached bathroom. Talking about mess it is below average. But menu is well appreciated According to nutrition basis. But it lacks the MEDICAL college quality sometimes.

Admission

The admission in this college is only based on your NEET score. You always hope for best and yes there are some medical college superior than ours. Like personally i wanted best college of haryana i.e PGI Rohtak but my score was to far away from that. But According to my score this was more than enough and i am fully satisfied by with my college. Talking about eligibility it is your NEET Rank and no other option. So go for it and wait for the counselling result to get the best.

Faculty

4

The faculty deal strictly with the students over the year. But at the end they are the most helpful creatures on earth as they want you to move to next chapter without any inconvenience. You just need to be respectful. Complete your attendence and internal assessment then you will not be bothered by them. They are available anytime for doubts and even extra classes. Weekly tests are held as MBBS is all about exams.. Then in hierarchy comes monthly Part completion test (pct) Then come once in 3 months Major Periodic Exam (MPE) which is of same format to the final exams Seminars and self learning classes also contribute to internal assessment If you have 75 % attendance in theory. 80 % in labs And 50 % internal assessment Then you can appear in proff exams In which you must get 50% both in theory and practical to pass.

Course Curriculum Overview:

New nmc curriculum is quite clinical based and practical also the practicals in different subjects help us to grab the concept even more. Syllabus is quite vast and difficult to cover. Exam frequency is very high evil give pcts after every topic completion and two internals and two centres and one professional exam is also there.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I chose this course because I've always wanted to become a doctor. Every batch consists of 150 students and for every subject, there are at least 4-5 professors. All faculty members are of course doctors with varying degrees of specialization in their respective fields. Their teaching method is through PowerPoint slides for theory classes and practical's are held in respective labs as it happens everywhere else usually. As for now, due to COVID exams being postponed otherwise before the pandemic, exams were held on time. Exams in a medical college are always slightly more difficult than other courses otherwise if you study properly it's not that tough to pass.

PGIMS Rohtak as everyone know is one of the oldest medical colleges in India. It is also one of the reputed colleges. It was given an A+ grade. It provides quality education to the students who thought it might be lacking a bit in infrastructure and extracurricular activities.
