Course Curriculum Overview

2.5

MBBS is the course to become doctor in this country. This course teaches us to deal with the real life patients . Exam are one part which everyone need to cross. Exams are simple to moderate. There are 2 internals, one pre university and the finals in one year. Passing in University is deciding factor for you to go in next year

Fees and Financial Aid

I have just completed my first year ( result is yet to come) . I am from general category. So, I have to pay for entire fees of the curriculum. In the first year, College fees is 1,14,000 Rs Additional 26,000 Rs we paid for hostel and library and other charges. Total 1,40,000 Rs for First year. From second year onwards, fees is 1,00,000 Rs and additional hostel and library fees. Medhavi Scholarship is available for merit students whose family income is less than 54,000 Rs per year. Post merit scholarship is for student who belong to SC, ST and OBC. They only had to pay 14000 Rs for the first year. From second year, they will not have to pay any tution fee. Fee will be of hostel and other charges.

Campus Life

2.5

Infrastructure of the college is simple, no attractive things to admire. There are clubs but your participation in the club is witnessed only during Fest or any other programs. There is ground, one badminton court. You can play there whenever you want . Campus is safe.

Hostel Facilities

2

14000 rs per year is the hostel charges. Hostel is congested, also the maintenance is poor. Juniors have to suffer. They are kept two in a room for a single person. I had to live with 6 other girls for 8 months in my first year, that also in a hall where there is no privacy, extreme heat in summers and cold in winters. If there would be one more building, then problem would be resolved. Meal comes from tiffins and mess both, it's your choice where you want to eat from. Registration in hostel is simple, you have to go there where they will give you form to fill if any space is available, otherwise they deny.

Admission

Admission in MBBS government college is based in Neet ug rank. Through counseling you get the college from the list of college you filled. There are rounds in counselling. If your marks and rank match the cutoff of that college, seat is alloted. After selection, you have to physically appear in the college with your documents. After verification and fees submission, your admission is final.

Faculty

2.5

Since I have just experienced the first year faculties. There are three departments Anatomy Biochemistry Physiology HOD of Anatomy is Dr Sameer Sathe sir. Amit. K Srivastava sir is the Demonstrator . Both the teacher teaches in a way one can understand. When you ask them a doubt, they resolve it by asking questions to you . Till now, There is no PG in Anatomy department. In Biochemistry department, HOD is Dr Abhishek Sharma sir Dr Rajju Tiwari, Dr Kamal Kachhava are professors. Dr Swati Srivastava is the Demonstrator. There are 3 PGs in This department. Out of three, Dr Alishan ma'am helps a lot in practicals. Teaching of Dr Abhishek Sharma sir is little boring, Dr Kamal Kachhava sir's class is bit interesting. Dr Rajju ma'am's teaching is moderate . In practical class, you will understand. In physiology HOD is Dr Vivek Verma Dr Sumit Kumar , Dr Pawan Kumar , Dr Sonali Tripathi. There are Two Pgs, both are very helpful. I like Dr Sonali ma'am teaching most

Course Curriculum Overview:

The MBBS course curriculum is quite comprehensive and well-structured, covering all the essential aspects of medical science needed for both academic growth and clinical practice. The inclusion of subjects like Anatomy, Physiology, and Biochemistry in the first year builds a strong foundation for understanding the human body and disease mechanisms. The curriculum is relevant as it gradually progresses from basic to clinical subjects, preparing students for real-world medical applications and patient care. Teaching methods such as interactive lectures, practical sessions, dissections, and clinical demonstrations make learning more engaging and concept-based. However, more emphasis on integrated teaching, case-based discussions, and exposure to real clinical settings from the early years would further enhance understanding and application. The frequency and timing of exams are generally well-planned, but sometimes the schedule can feel packed, leaving limited time for conceptual revision. Overall, the curriculum is highly relevant and effective, though incorporating more modern teaching methods, simulation-based learning, and periodic skill assessments could make it even better suited for today’s medical challenges.
