Course Curriculum Overview

2.5

The one and only aspect which has influenced me are cars and bikes. This curriculum prepares you for real time aspects in your career and for your career growth . The areas for improvement are a bit mixed as faculties and the rules and regulations that have been implied at this point there is room for improvement .

Internships Opportunities

3

There are many companies giving internship oppurtunities as most of them are startup companies but these internships are really helpful in your career growth . Many projects have come across me which i find astonishing are electric motorcylces .

Placement Experience

2.5

Students become eligible for campus placements form 4th year that is the 7th Semester . TCS , Wipro , Cognizant , HCL and many more MNC companies have visited . I have literally no idea of the number of offers made by those companies . The highest package given to a student with this year passed out is 45.5 LPA in an MNC company in foreign branch and the average package as per company is 4 LPA . Percentage of students getting placed in sathyabama as per this year 92.57% . My plans after degree is to work for 2 years or so go abroad for higher studies.

Fees and Financial Aid

The year wise fees that i have paid or will pay are as follow : 1st year - 2,50,000 (rupees, paid) 2nd year - 2,10,000(rupees , paid) 3rd year - 2,10,000(rupees, yet to pay ) 4th year - 2,20,000(rupees, yet to pay ) Sathyabama does not have a caution fee . The registration fee is 500 (rupees) , lab fee is 15000(rupees) for management it is extra 30000 or 40000(rupees). The fees of my batchmates are quite similar it depends upon the course you choose the fees for other courses are as follows : BBA - The total fee is 2.65 lakhs B.sc- The total fee is 2.03 lakhs MBA - The total fee is 4.03 lakhs Btech - the first year fee is 2.45 lakhs Scholarships are based on your skillsets the extra-curricular activities in which you have secured a good position and your board marks and you can get scholarship or merit based admission in the college via SAEEE (Sathyabam Entrance Exam).

Campus Life

3

There is only one event which happens every year only for a day it is most grandest event of sathyabama . There are wide range of books in sathyabama's library in every genre you will have a wide range of books and journals . The facilities and technological provisions give the college is top notch to be frank it is top notch . There are clubs for badminton cricket basketball volleyball but not for football it is the only major drawback in th sports management department .

Admission

I had plans and had applied for other colleges like chirst university , jain university , SNU Chennai , and many more outside chennai i got the confirmed admission from jain and christ but my parents were agianst it so i was not lucky enough to go there and study and i had cleared SNU's entrance exam but was not selected for admission as the selectors gave me one reason only one as i did not cleared their expected board marks which was 75% but i had only gotten 70%. The admission process was for me very simple and quick as i had not written the sathyabama entrance test and me and my father had gone to the college enquired about the fee structure and the process for admission and went through management quota . The eligibilty criteria is just 10+2 passed with 50 % exams acepeted for my course is JEE and SAEEE . Last year's JEE cutoff was 93 percentile . The experience was overall good

Faculty

3

*The faculty - student ratio is a little average from my own perspective as i feel the staff are more fast paced and never try to understand the student's level of understaning or grasping skills i feel i have the grasping skill i could manage but if any other student is skilled or talented but has a lower level of grasping skills he will some difficulties to cop up with the faculty the ratio is around 60:40 some of the faculties are a boon to you as they support you in every situation but not all faculties are same . I would not want to take their names but some faculties are a little arrogant and rude and they want the students to be puppets around them but the silent ones keep silent but the one studnet who wants to explore and learn in a different way has to go throughh these kinds of staff . There are 2 CAT (continuous assessment test) this happens every 2 and half months for 50 marks and this is followed in every semseter and at the end of semester there is an end sem exam.

Other Applied Colleges

Jain University - [JU] | Bachelor of Science [B.Sc] (Gaming)

Its is because of the situation and my parents were not supportive of that

Placement Experience:

Students can join job drives from the 7th term. Many firms visit the campus for jobs and offer roles in tech and other fields. The pay varies by firm and role. EEC has a good job rate and gives help for job prep. After my degree, I plan to work in the tech field and grow my skills.

Placement Experience:

Students are open to campus placements from 2nd year onwards. There are many companies who visit such as Delloite, Accenture, Cognizant, TCS, Amazon, NatWest, Nokia, etc. Highest package offered is 42 lpa and lowest is maybe 2-4lpa. Around 90% of students get placed here. My plans is to get a job through campus recruitment. Currently I got an internship through campus recruitment in Cognizant so the recruitment is quite nice here.

Placement Experience:

One thing I really need to appreciate at CIT is its placement training program. The placement team conducts regular sessions on 1. aptitude 2. coding 3. communication skills 4. group discussions and 5. interview preparation which helped me feel more confident during placements. The trainers were friendly and always encouraged us to improve our skills step by step. They provide continuous guidance and feedback throughout the training process. Mock interviews and one to one assessments helped me to understand my strength and weak areas and I work on improvements . These sessions not only improved my technical and communication skills but also boosted my confidence . The placement training team played an important role in preparing me for career opportunities and industry expectation

Chennai Institute of Technology is an instituition that truly prioritizes student career growth . The placement cell is exceptionallu well-organized ,consistently connecting students with reputed companies across various industries. What makes CIT stood out is the quality of its training staff. They focus heavily on communication , technical knowledge and competitive preparation ,align students with what top companies expect ,and contiuosly push us to improve and meet industry standards. Their structured training helped me to clearly identify my strengths and work on my weak areas, which made a huge difference during interviews and boosted my overall confidence. The department faculty are equally commnedable ,knowledgable ,approachable and genuinely invested in student career. Overall CIT is an excellent choice for anyone focused on building a strong and sucessful career
