- Things I mostly liked was college gives importance to academic as well as non academic activities at the same level
- Even patient flow is very good that we can do practice what is necessary
- Teachers are supportive as well all the equipments needed are also good in the college
Dislikes
- There weren't many things that I would've disliked about my college
- Only thing I used to not like was compulsion for college hostels
- Also compulsion of college mess for 1st 4 years shouldn't be mandatory
Course Curriculum Overview
I like skilled work that's the reason I choosed being dentist. This curriculum prepared us how to interact,care about the patient. Often class tests should've been conducted. Some exams sheet were not corrected at times so students had difficulty to analyse where we stand
Internships Opportunities
Internship was also covered in our college itself. 4 years of academics and 1 whole year of internship. We had 18 extra leaves in internship. Stipend we used get was 1000 rs per month. Many workshops also used to held in the campus.
Fees and Financial Aid
As I got admission from IQ I had to pay total fees without any scholarships.But those who has category like sc,st has very less fees that is only development fees and hostel fees.If you apply for scholarship you'll be eligible to get half of the fees in return
Campus Life
Many conferences used to held also convocation for interns passing out. All functions like navratri, ganpati are worthy to watch. Also fest of smbt is the best thing I've experienced in my life time. Sports used to held where girls boys as well as teachers used to participate At the last day of annuals all the winner were awarded
Hostel Facilities
We used to have 4 students in each room of same year.and hostel was in the campus itself This campus is ragging free. Reactors are somewhat strict which they needed to be. Also rooms,flats are available out of the campus where u can stay with your frnds with affordable price
Admission
I also choosed yashwantrao chavhan memorial college from Ahmednagar. But I choosed this college over other because it was near to my hometown. No I didn't get rejection from other college just the thing was I wanted to be near by to my family. For eligibility NEET UG exam is required
Faculty
Faculty to students interaction was upto the mark. We had our mentors who used to pay attention to us. I used to like Ekta mam of pedo department because she had best teaching techniques. We used to have 3 internal examination which were held time to time. Most of students used to pass but those who failed were paid more attention and re exam used to be held
