From Campus to Career : A comprehensive review of Swargiya Dadasaheb Kalmegh Smruti Dental college and Hospital

We have a highly regarded undergraduate and postgraduate programme in the college . We have adopted over 50 villages to my knowledge and we have free dental camps every month there. The department of Public health dentistry is very strong along with all other departments in terms of camps and free health checkups. The course is quite brain consuming and sometimes takes a toll on us but as said only pressure can create diamonds .

Total fees is around 3,15,000 /- of which I pay 1,67,000 as I beling to OBC category. SC has nil fees And tge fees for other category like ST, NT EBC,SBC, is according to government guidelines as our college is a semi - government college. Institutional round people pay the full amount of 3,15,000/- and management rounds pay full amount along with the donation amount which may be variable evey year.

Campus is small but there are 2 fests in year the main being the Ganesh Festival , in which the 3rd year batch is the organising batch . It is the biggest festival in the college and is celebrated with great enthusiasm from both students and faculty. The next fest is the annual college fest which is of almost 2-3 days and is in the month of February. Infrastructure could be better, but we also have sports in our college which is actually a great thing.

I applied to Government Dental College but due to my less score I couldn't get in , then i applied in other private colleges but this was on my top priority due it's good name in academics and also the college has been recently been NAAC A+ accredited.

We have a good amount pf faculty , like every faculty can have 5 students as their guides. We have 3 internal exams called the part completion tests PCT 1 of 3 pointer PCT 2 of 3 pointer PCT 3 of 4 pointer Pointers are calculated on the basis of marks scored in PCT exam which is of 70 marks . So the total comes of 10 pointer. This 10 pointer is added in the final university exam that is Maharashtra University of Health Science exam which is in the end which marks the end to the particular academic session.
