Likes
- the only thing i liked here are the fests , my college does provide some great fests for sure so if u wanna enjoy your 4 years for sure you can come here ,
- the secod thing i liked was the types of students joiing the college, i got to meet a lot different types of people from different origin
- and yeah they does have an incubation centre where the do fund the early stage startup through seed funding
Dislikes
- the number of students here , there are around 4500 btech students this year wherre as last year this number was around 2700, so there is a drastic change in terms of students intake thus increasing the competition
- non ac class rooms, the college is situated in rajasthan so for sure the summers are unbearable here and the unavailability oof air conditioner makes it soo much difficult to sit in the class rooms during g the noon time
- the computer lab here is pathetic the pc here have i3 processors and 4 gb ram dude how are we gonna learn something on the that is why we have to carry our own laptops in the lab
Course Curriculum Overview
the first year syllabus have basic maths and phy which is not at all relevent to the todays world and even the cplt they are just teaching us basic c right now, and communiocation skills is okay okay, but they need to change the syllabus for sure they are teachingb the things they used to teach like 40 years back
Internships Opportunities
internships provided in the college are from isro and other companies but not much are provides so u need to apply off campus for it, the internships opportunities are form the 3rd year itself, but u need to find one yourslef u cant rely on the college for it
Placement Experience
from the 7th semester studets can apply for the placements, the compaies viswtied were microsoft, tcs, wipro, infotech, etc...and a total of 2100 students got the offer, highest pkg was aroung 52 lakhs but this was some years ago, and the avg is like 6 lakhs per year, % of students getting placed is aroung 60-70%, my plans aftewr getting the degree is to go for masters
Fees and Financial Aid
the fees for the first year at jecrc jaipur for btech in cse core is around 220000 per year , and for specialization it is 250000 and there is a fee of rs 10000 per year they take it on the name of alumini fee and regestration fee is rs 850 ,and there is a scholarship of 15% if you have above 75% in 12th and 20% if you have above 85% in 12th, some of my friends opted for specializatio in cse so their annual fee comes up to around 250000, but the year wise fee i would not mind paying would be around rs 50000 yearly
Campus Life
reniassence is the annual fest here held in the month of like november, the library is okay okay the books are too old , facilities are not at all good and technical provisions are nil, sports is not that great , no well maintained ground here, and there is no students run groups or clubs, or studentbportal
Admission
soi applied for srm university ktr and i even got a seat in the aiml cse btech but the fee there was around 485000 per year which i thought is a lot and is not a great return on investment then my brother told me about this college he graduated form here only so he had an idea that spending rs 25 lakhs for a btech degree is not worth it , therefore i came here, and talking about the admission process in my college this is simple, u just need to fill the form and pay the fee and you are good to go
Faculty
faculty to students ratio is about 60:1, some of the faculties are okay but some of them are here just to do tyimepass, some of the great faculties are nishant gaur sir for physics, and avantika maam for communication skills, they do love to teach and they actually pay attention to if the students are learning or not, the exams are okayish it usually comes from the assignments and the notes provided so they are easy to pass i myself studies 1 night before so if u study even 1 week before the exam u are good to go, there are 2 mid sems per semester and an end term exam

because of the fees, the fees here is too high according to me giving 25 lakhs for a btech degree is waste of money , and also is was too away from my home town
