Jecrc University Experience

Pros Course is good and is updated time to time. There is a entrepreneurship development program that is compulsory for the 1st year in which we will be studying about entrepreneurship. Cons Classes are from monday to saturday which i think is bad. Most good university have classes from monday to friday only. And my decision to choose this university was decent placement for the fee.

Internship is very good in this college. There is a seperate internship cell available in the college. Some of the companies visited for internship in 2023 are Amazon, cisco,wipro, Deloitte. Also many students gets internship in isro and drdo also.

Placement is decent in the college. Average package is 6.9 Lpa (2025) batch Highest package is 33 lpa given by Amazon india to 4 students. In the 3rd year we can sit in internships. There is a seperate internship cell for that. For the placement 4th year can sit. My plan is: I will do job for 1-2 years and then masters.

For B. Tech CSE (Core) in 2024 (General) i have paid Tution Fee- 220000 Per Year Hostel Fee (AC)- 160000 Per Year Admission Fee- 5000 (One Time) Alumni Fee- 5000 (One Time) Hostel Utility Fee- 5000 (One Time) I didn't get any scholarship but it is available. Here is the updated scholarship details for 2025 batch. 1)Merit Scholarship- Criteria: 70%to84.99% - 15% Scholarship will be given for tution fee. 2) Merit Scholarship - Criteria: 85% and above- 20% scholarship will be given for tution fee. 3) Jee main percentile score: 85-90 (general) - 15% 4) Jee main percentile score:more than 90(general)- 20% 5) Other Scholarships are also available. In 2025 batch fee will be increasing. Now pros and cons Pros Nice learning and friendly teachers. Attendance criteria is 75 but teachers are friendly you can manage it Placements are average Cons Campus is very crouded Campus is still under construction Campus is small No ac in classrooms You can't roam in campus after 10pm. If you are living in campus hostel you have to go to room at 10pm for boys For girls its 9pm I would rate this university and the course i am doing 7/10.

There are various clubs,comminities and technical clubs are available and most of them are active as well. Campus life is decent, not soo bad not soo good. There is a "Innovate"( Sports and eSports event) Ju Rhytm is a cultural fest which will be done in the month of march. Every week you will find small events that are conducted by the clubs. I am also a part of a coding club named DevCrest. Overall campus life is good

Hostels rooms are good. 1 table, 1 chair, 1 bed will be available. Also ac is available. You will get flat style rooms. For 3 sharing each person will get their own bedroom. There is one hall and a washroom in the flat. Now mess food. In starting it was good but as time passes it becomes bad. Timings are - Breakfast - 7:30 Am to 8:30 am In sunday it will become 7:30 am to 9 am Lunch- 11:30 am to 2 pm Snacks- 5:15 pm to 6:30 pm And dinner- 7:30 pm to 9:30 pm There are many pg available near the college.

I chose this college over other college is that i was left with no choice. The admission process is very simple for jecrc University. Criteria is 60 percent overall including all subjects. Just apply online by visiting official website of jecrc University. Pay the fee and get admission in the university.

Some faculties are good some are bad. Exams are very hectice. 2 insem exam . And 1 end term exam. For those who have missed the one of the two insem exams there will be 3rd insem exam. Now Syallabus There will be 5 units for a semester For 1st insem 1 unit and 2 unit will come in exam. For 2nd insem 3rd and 4th unit will come in exam. For 3rd insem( only for those who have missed 1of the two insem exams) all 5 units will come. Endterm- All units will come. Now marks Insems will be of 40 marks and Endterm will be of 100 marks Now the insem marks are converted to 15 - 15 marks. So we will get 30 marks from 2 insems. And 20 marks for assignments. Then the end term marks will be converted to 50. Thats how marks will get distributed. Faculty to student ratio is 1:60 for classrooms. And for lab it is 1:30.

No there was no interview or written test for the admission in the cource i have taken which is btech cse. But there is a couse in btech cse specilation with kalvium for which we have to give a exam and after that interview.

Night is not soo good. All the food outlet inside the campus closes at 9 pm And you have to be inside hostel at 10 pm for boys and 9 pm for girls. Outside timings are 7:30 pm officially for boys. But they will give entry till 8 pm For girls it is 7 pm. There is two central library one closes at 5 pm and one at 8 pm.
