Course Curriculum Overview
Biotechnology course consists of both zoology and botany from tissue culture to immunology which lets me study in any field and work in any sector from food to vaccine from pathology lab to research and development labs. The curriculum provided by the college focus in every field equally first sem focus on cell biology second sem focus on molecular biology third sem focus more on immunology and so on .
Placement Experience
This collage provided really great placement oppertunity and also have really good placement history with highest package going to 45lpa The collage have dedicated placement cell which prepare you for upcoming placement by providing training and personality development
Fees and Financial Aid
The college fee for 1 year for bsc biotechnology (hons) is 102300 which include study and other ( exam fees , etc.). The college provides scholarship for non Gujarati students based on their 12th marks but only for 1st year fees ( for example I got 30% scholarship means 30% off on my first year fees). At the time of admission they charge 10000 as a registration fees .
Campus Life
The college have a really great infrastructure and really big campus. Social life in college is top notch with ragging free campus and 24*7 security. The college organises many party night which help to socialize student
Hostel Facilities
College have its own hostel with fees ranging from 70k to 150k . The hostel fees include food also . The hostel is ragging free. Rooms range from 3 sharing to 8 sharing both with either attached bathroom or common bathroom
Admission
I choose this collage just because of their placement. This collage have a really great placements. Other colleges that were on my list were not having great labes and infrared. The admission process was really easy all process was completed in one day the staff was very helping and supporting
Faculty
The faculty members are well educated and well informed about their course to teach. The faculty help everyone student regarding their academic and non academic doubts they support students both academically and mentally and help student solve issue if they facing any. Exam for a semester is in 3 stage that is weekly exam, mid term , external. Weekly exam is of 20 marks which contains MCQ type question and the exam mode is online. The mid term is of 40 marks which is an offline mode exam pen paper mode . The external is of 60 marks and is also pen paper mode The weekly exam only contribute 10 marks form 20 marks and the mid term exam contribute 20 marks form 40 marks and external exam contribute total 60 marks .
