Course Curriculum Overview

3.5

I have always enjoyed helping people and taking care of them whenever possible,so the best way to continue doing that was to opt for nursing career which i love doing. The curriculum prepares us very well as frequent postings are arranged in many hospitals and we are made to interact with patients and take care of them which also prepares us for future.

Fees and Financial Aid

The yearly fees of my course is 600000 with the additional exam fees of 500 per subject. At the time of admission i paid 4000 extra which was compulsory to pay. The hostel fees is fifty thousand per year.

Campus Life

3.5

Our college is very much fun as many festivals are celebrated,me being from northeast india enjoy the south indian festivals so much like onam and all. There are many books in the library which covers various topics. You can choose books depending on the course you are and you can get every book even if its not there by asking the library incharge they will make it possible. Sports activities are also held like inter college basketball tournaments, football tournaments, volleyball mathes and many others which boosts the confidence and builds fitness of the students.

Hostel Facilities

5

Previously in the first year i was staying in hostel but the food over there was not so good so i with my friends shifted in a rented apartment. The hostel rooms have working ceiling fans bunk beds, study hall etc The food and meals were not so good The locality i stay in currently is very good and friendly, shops are also nearby and you can get everything you want easily.

Admission

I applied to many colleges like Tadong college in sikkim, ICFAI Universtiy and many others in which i even got accepted but at the last minute i got a call form the karnataka college instution saying that they provided good courses and education and also scholarship facilities so i chose to get in this college. No I didn't get rejected in other colleges i got accepted in every college i applied but i wanted to experience the world outside my state so i chose to take admission in this college.

Faculty

3.5

Students and faculty in our college have good relationship students can ask them for help anytime they are ready to provide assistance with open arms. The most liked person is the chairman of the college because he helped me in getting out of the hostel as I couldn't afford to pay the hostel fee and helped me find a good apartment. In my course currently 3 exams are conducted, its not that hard to pass if you study properly. But many students fail to pass tge exams due to their neglecence.

Course Curriculum Overview:

To be honest ther is no extra carriculum conducted in this college as it is a academic focused college. But the teaching are good but some teachers don't know how to teach . To improve I think that the college should include sports as physical exercise is also important. The exam are conducted on a regular basis and they are easy if you study .

Course Curriculum Overview:

I have picked this course asit suits meas i am a critical thinker who can react well under pressure and to make my family proud with my profession. We have to deal with many situations which cannot be handled with people with no medical background and have to focus on maintaining patience with working with accident and fatal situations that come our way. When going for postings in clinical environments like hospitals etc we get to experiene minute details about the hospitals from bed making to helping to birth a baby every minute actions helps us to become more resilient. At every end of year we have exam and before appearing we might get study leave and the exams are very hard to pass because thethe answers requires creativity and presentations etc
