Course Curriculum Overview

4

I m a civil service aspirant , therefore i opted for this college and course which provides me a perfect blend of subjects and topics which will help me in my futher studies. The exam pattern was good

Fees and Financial Aid

I paid 62800 year in which i was have pursued tripple major in public administration, sociology, economics. One can avail scholarship through national scholarship portal if deems fit otherwise there is no fees waiver as such or scholarships provided by college. There is difference in fees for students who have pursued puc from Karnataka i guess.

Campus Life

4

There will be many festival happening throughout the year be it intra college or inter college, which gives opportunity to showcase out talent. They celebrate each and every festival to enable the students to meet the diversity of india .

Admission

I didn't apply to any other colleges, it was my first choice due to the perfect blend of subjects and course it offers . It is a all girls college. They always push us to overcome our limitations and excell ourselves

Faculty

4

In my class there were only 28 students, therefore teacher student ratio was good and i guess same for every class . Faculties are helpful and always approachable. English department of college is very good, teacher are well qualified and experts. There are two semesters exams and two periodic exam in a year . Course curriculum is relevant to our day to day life , and one can find meaning out of it.

Placement Experience:

After the 2nd year, you are offered the option to register for placements. Various companies like Goldman Sachs, EY and NGOs like TeachForIndia visit the college yearly for placements. I am not very aware of the placement scenario in the college as I am planning on pursuing my masters immediately after college and hence, am not looking to get placed. The placement cell in the college is very functional however, and give time-to-time updates about placements and internship opportunities.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Psychology course curriculum is great. It's interesting and informational and you also get practical learning Optional English i regret choosing because it's not what i expected it to be. There's a lot of reading to be done and you have to be regular. the teachers don't really do a good job of making the subject interesting. there's 2 sets of exams mid sem is 25 marks end sem is 60 difficulty level - easy-medium

The placement cell is very active in our college and it is headed by an associate professor. The students from the 1st to 6th semester are getting placed. Recently we had companies like Wipley, Optum, Toyota, Wipro, etc. The highest package is 7 lakh and the average package is around 3-4 lakh per year. I have planned to go for government jobs after my graduation.
