Course Curriculum Overview

3

I chose this curriculum so that I could help other people We get to attend postings in which we learn to deal with patients and various other treatment modalities Classes should be regular and the professors should teach accordingly

Internships Opportunities

3

Intership opportunities are available and compulsory for a year at government hospital khandwa. Stipend is very low which is only 14,000/- per month and work load is very high. There are night duties too and duties at various PHCs which are far away. The duties which are allotted to us are educative and good for future reference.

Fees and Financial Aid

Yearly fees are 1,14,000/- TF:- 1,00,000, CF:- 14000 For scholarship students, only CF is to be paid. Another scholarship program also provides the same benefit of tution fees and only CF is needed to be paid by the student annually

Campus Life

4

Overall the experience is very good. We have sports complex, cricket ground, volleyball ground. Every year there is fest, Ganesh utsav. For first years there is freshers party, for final years there is farewell party. We've got a large library with 2 floors, AC and tablets with prepladder installed. Wide range of medical books are available. Various magazines, newspapers and novels are also available. Withing classroom, projectors are installed, a large touchscreen is installed too in one of the classrooms with 6 different TVs installed till back so that backbenchers can also view the slides and videos shown by the teachers. Sports: badminton, volleyball, cricket, chess, table tennis, carrom, gym. Students can participate in various competitions of above mentioned sports. There are music clubs too and above mentioned sports clubs

Hostel Facilities

3.5

Hostel facilities are very good. We have inbuilt washrooms in every room. Every alternate days cleaning is done by the workers. Meal quality is bad. Mess is not clean and food quality is also bad. We prefer tiffins. Registration process is simple with just one form filling. Rooms are affordable with just 34,000/- per year

Admission

I preferred this college over others as this college is new with bigger rooms in hostels and attached washrooms in every room. Other colleges that I applied for were, jabalpur, chhindwara, datiya, gwalior government medical Colleges Admission process contains details verification and medical fitness Cutoff for our college: general: 520; SC: 430 out of 720

Faculty

3.5

Per subject faculty to student ratio is almost 1:12 Majority of the faculties have a good relationship with students Best faculties are that of gynaecology as they take regular classes which are very good and wherever necessary, they provide with practical demonstrations The worst faculties are that of ophthalmology as they never considered my leave, made me do various assignments to cover up which I did accordingly and still they detained me. There are 2 sessionals, 1 Pre-university exam and 1 university exam per year. About 8 to 10 students fail.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The MBBS course curriculum is quite comprehensive and well-structured, covering all the essential aspects of medical science needed for both academic growth and clinical practice. The inclusion of subjects like Anatomy, Physiology, and Biochemistry in the first year builds a strong foundation for understanding the human body and disease mechanisms. The curriculum is relevant as it gradually progresses from basic to clinical subjects, preparing students for real-world medical applications and patient care. Teaching methods such as interactive lectures, practical sessions, dissections, and clinical demonstrations make learning more engaging and concept-based. However, more emphasis on integrated teaching, case-based discussions, and exposure to real clinical settings from the early years would further enhance understanding and application. The frequency and timing of exams are generally well-planned, but sometimes the schedule can feel packed, leaving limited time for conceptual revision. Overall, the curriculum is highly relevant and effective, though incorporating more modern teaching methods, simulation-based learning, and periodic skill assessments could make it even better suited for today’s medical challenges.
