Nice infrastructure and very big and spacious classrooms to work
Very nice ambience and Material used in construction gives a really nice place to design and think
Very supportive staff and really affordable

Dislikes

During rains we sometimes face issues of water
Due to structures slopping roof the water falls and make loud noise
Sometime the work load is way too much to handle

Course Curriculum Overview

The course curriculum is really easy and I can say perfect the time management for the subjects and the sheets is really good and we get ample of time to understand and Learn things, the curriculum is very relevant to real life knowledge

Internships Opportunities

So basically in the 8th sem that is in the end of fourth year we have to go on a internship for around 6 months where we take practical knowledge and we work on projects we need to search internship by our own but faculty helps as well

Fees and Financial Aid

I belong to OBC cast but I took admission under hindi minority Kota so my fees is around 1,46,777 rs and obc fees is 76,677 and sc st are free the reserved caste can study in free and my college fees is affordable

Campus Life

The infrastructure is really good and campus life is nice with supportive seniors who are always ready to help our college has many clubs for co curricular activities as well we can take part in those clubs and improve our side interests

Admission

I had two options one was ideas and the other was piads so I went for piads as ideas was really far from the city and small in terms of students and infrastructure and in priyadarshini the campus is designed by our directors so it is a great inspiration itself

The college I am in is priyadarshi institute of architecture and design studies so in my college the staff is really really supportive and experienced they all are architects and practicing side by side

Perfect infrastructure but more experience faculty needed

The reason i choose architecture because it fascinates me how a place can be developed into holistic place interests me . The curriculum has some good inputs but it doesn't make you industry ready extra efforts should be taken to learn advance softwares extra classes newer research etc discussion on advance technology becomes important in modern age how architecture is changing is not discussed

Course Curriculum Overview:

The frequency of exam is twice a semester and good enough. Guest lectures are good and helpful for the future preparation.There must be a change in teaching styles of the faculty and more site based experiments through the course for better understanding than only in class studies , the beauty of historical buldings made me wonder about this course

Placement Experience:

For architecure departments, usually there are no placements, but since this Institute is autonomous, they have startes conducting placements drive. Last year 10/12 students were placed in good firms all over banglore, pune, kolhapur. I plan on applying to different firms all over Maharashtra and would also hope to get placement via college since the packages that are offered are good. Placement percentage is anywhere between 12-15%. The highest package offered was around 5,40,000, average package for a architecture student would be-around 3lakhs.

Placement Experience:

There is no campus placement for architecture students. After completion of the degree, one can apply for jobs or opt for masters. Architects get an average starting salary of 20-25 thousand. The course is pretty expensive including college fees and printing prices. One can also open a private firm and earn enough money. There are very few open students getting placed. My plans after getting a degree are to apply for masters. For a teaching job, one must complete masters.

quick review

there is an entrance exam for the B. Arch course. After passing the entrance exam the admission process is done on a merit basis. also, reservation category candidates have some benefits. The admission process is done through rounds. all rounds are according to the merit rank you have achieved. According to your merit ranks, colleges are allowed.
