What Students Say

Likes

The first thing I liked was the faculties support always for their students and the way of teaching.
The food they provide is far better . They provide three meals a day , including tea two times per day.
The infrastructure it had was very good and the labs where so nice to use throughout the college life.

Dislikes

They could've increased the placement opportunities a little bit , cause some companies did not come to intake students.
The college was very strict, this doesn't comes under dislike , but I'm mentioning this as my point of view.
The college is to far, this is one of my biggest dislikes. I used to travel 3 hours to reach the college and go back to home.

Course Curriculum Overview

I wanted to become a software Engineer so I had to choose either IT or CSE. My luck was I got CSE in JIT . The curriculum doesn't prepare you for the real world applications , but it does give you the boost or the energy you need. They should start focusing on the recent technologies. They have 2 mid exams in each semester

Internships Opportunities

When it comes to internship. They provide various trainee roles to students which includes stipends like around 5-15k per month . In some companies they give certificate alone which is worthy after that.

Placement Experience

We became eligible for placements and internships right after our second year , that is after 4th semester. All major companies came like Amazon , TCS, Wipro , Byjus etc. The highest package got was 10LPA by Amazon . Percentage was around 70>

Fees and Financial Aid

The total fees per year was around 1,10,000. It differed from one to one . College do provide scholarships. And my total fees came upto 5.5 lakhs including the semester fees for exams and all the other stuffs.

Campus Life

They conduct culturals and symposium every even semesters. Mostly occurs in March . There are n number of books in our library which is very good. All facilities are available including projectors. Our college is the best for basketball. There are clubs like NCC , NSS, and YRC . They take to camps and are always active .

Admission

First of all, I did not get any rejection from other colleges . I applied to colleges like RMK , SIMATS, panimalar also . The first college I applied was JIT , So i got it and selected my college . The admission process is very easy and all you have to do is follow the staff . They guide you very well.

Faculty

There were faculty for each and every subject. But in rare cases they take two subjects too. My favourite staff left the college due to personal reasons. She used to motivate and support me all the time. There are eight semester as you know. Which are easy if you concentrate during your lectures. And the correction is done by Anna University during our time . But now the college is autonomous.

College with good environment, teaching and placements

Placement Experience:

On doing 6th semester companys are coming for placements. But most of the companys come in the 7th semester. There is a lot of companies come here like Embedur, Honeywell,Caterpillar,Zoho,Tcs, Accenture,Hcl,Ltimindtree,Cts,etc.. Around 75-85 percentage of students got offer. The Highest package is 20lpa amd lowest is 3.36lpa. I have to go to IT company for work.

About My University

Course Curriculum Overview:

I influenced by my friends who joined in this course ,later on I adjusted with it ,the curriculum prepares students in which they are capable to understand in their own way with which they build up projects and expos and many more events conducted by the other collages to participate in it. It is a tough situation to deal with it because the minimal gap between the sessionals is 1.5 month so for students it a stress to cover the syllabus of all subjects and with project works etc.

The Real Review of Jeppiaar institute of technology

I have applied many colleges like SRM, Sathyabama, Saveetha engineering College Autonomous, Panimalar, etc.. but jeppiaar institute of technology was the only college doesn't ask any donation and make this affordable. Mainly I wrote entrance exam at VIT Chennai but unfortunately I didn't get selected for this course. So I went through JIT. They process of selecting students in JIT was easy. First they registered and blocked a seat for myself and they analysed my marks and myself.
