Course Curriculum Overview
As the college told me about their main focus on practical knowledge in my course, which made me choose this college. The thing which should be improved as per me is, they should take the semester examinations on time rather than postponding it, and in teaching i would suggest them to remove the unnecessary subjects which are not relevant to our course.
Internships Opportunities
internships are unpaid mostly, but the compainies are not so renowned among everyone. in short the internships are okay for gaining experience and learning, paid internships are very rare, like 1 out of 1000 interships is paid.
Placement Experience
Placements are not so good the average is someting like 4 lakhs per annum, higgest was 10 lakhs, now the placements will be more as our college has now got A+ grade from NAAC. Till date the placements percentage were not so high, but now we are expecting for the increase in placments.
Fees and Financial Aid
For the first year the fees is 1 lakh but i got 10% discount for more than 60% in boards and 10% more from their side, in total 20%, and my fees became 80,000 for first year. Admission fees was 10,000. enrollment fees was 1600, exam fees for 1st semester was 2000 and 2nd semester was 2500. our university has scholarship for SC/SC/OBC category students.
Campus Life
Here the campus life is quite good enough, club involvements is invreasing day by day, organizing new new events are on the way. there are two libraries, one is for management students, and the second one which is the main one is for all rest of the students, its is quite big library with lots of books but only course related books. the library also provides computer sysytems and wifi for ease of studies. Sports department is trying to grow, its not so good, as a footballer player i would suggest them to do daily practice and making a main team of college.
Hostel Facilities
Hostel facilties are not good for me, the food is not up to the mark, the stay is okay, but the facilties like wifi is slow, electrictity- cuts off frequently, water supplied to the hostel is not healthy for us, niether for drinking nor for bathing. And too much restrictions are there, like after 9.30 the boys can't get out of the hostel building, the hostel is inside the college, but still its not allowed, we can use kettle only for boiling water, iron is not allowed, heater is not allowed, for keeping cooler in summers we have to buy our own cooler as well as each students living in that paricular room with cooler, has to pay monthly rent just for keeping that cooler in that room, the rent is not divided among the students, all three of them have to pay 500 each/per month. And Girls have way more restrictions. The Windows were been locked up. the servicing people come after atleast 1 mont of complaining.
Admission
The Campus beauty, the affordable fees, the academic focus these things made me choose this college over others, as well as i didn't applied for many colleges, the colleges i applied for, among them is was the only college which was good and affordable both. the admission process was very easy here, i had to visit the college only twice as i live in other state.
Faculty
For every 50-70 students their is one faculty, the faculties are approachable and friendly, nut few faculties are there who are not at all friendly with students. Before the end semester the college takes 2 tests, mid semester test 1 and mid semester test 2 which are of 20 marks each, and the end semester examination is of 60 marks.
Other Applied Colleges
