- Good Faculty in almost all subjects specially in 1st and 2nd year
- Small and safe city of Amreli with minimal crowding
- Easy transportation available for nearby cities like Junagadh Bhavnagar and Rajkot
Dislikes
- Expected a bigger campus but the development in 3 to 4 years good
- Annual Functions and sports weeks type of events to be made on a bigger scale
- The inclusion of mess food along with hostel compulsorily to generate more income. Both things should have separate fee structure amd not inclusive to one another
Course Curriculum Overview
All the subjects in my course are great and co relate with each other as well as in real world medical practice The university exams are conducted annualy and there are internal exams and at times part ending or test as well
Internships Opportunities
Internship is compulsory for 12 months after completion of more than 4 years of MBBS Stipend of 12000 per month is provided at present which is a bit low considering the time , effort and hard work being put by the interns as well as the stature of medical field, its knowledge , its practical application and most important the 4 years of hard work done to become a doctor and in the end still receiving less stipend

GQ 685000 MQ 1500000 Hostel Fees 105000 to 140000 depending on type of rooms 2 sharing/3 sharing and ac/non ac Library and Gym Fees 2500 Free ship Card available for sc/st students College and Hostel Fees increased for newer batches 2024 batch fees GQ 857000 MQ 1710000 Hostel Fees increases by 10 percentage every 2 semesters
Campus Life
Campus life is good Infrastructure has developed significantly in last few years Sports like Cricket Football and volleyball are mainly played Classrooms have air conditioning and projectors and mic system Library has mostly all books at under graduate level
Hostel Facilities
Hostel is good But prices are very high Mess food has mixed reviews Morning breakfasts are the best Lunch is good But dinner meals are not that great Hostels and mess is in same college campus and registration is done in the administration department of college itself
Admission
I had applied in other medical colleges in Gujarat like Visnagar, Bharuch , Ahmedabad, Bhuj , Karamsad and other as well but either some of them were too costle and some were very far away from my hometown Admission process requires 3 to 4 steps of registration and counseling
Faculty
Every subject has its own department and on an average every department has 3 to 5 professors including Head of Department, Associate Professors and assistant professors Tutors and lab technician also present Interns and Fmges and DRPs also present in some departments Course and Curriculum is in accordance with that of NMC and exams conducted by Saurashtra University Rajkot
