Course Curriculum Overview
The course really did prepare us to face the real world healthcare system. Beginning right from the anatomical locations to taking sutures. Along that path all the years of knowledge and the assessment with the postings. The university exams were taken yearly First year was 1yr 2nd yr for 1.5 yrs 3rd yr for 1 yr 4th yr for 1yr And 1 yr internship
Internships Opportunities
Internship at SVP, Shardaben, Nagri are provided and they literally train us for the PG life. It also helps us in helpng develop our interest in a specific speciality that we would like to pursue. The stipend was ?18,200/-
Fees and Financial Aid
The fees for GQ was 5,44,000/-. It increased to about 6,00,000/- in the year 2021. Currently the figures for different categories are For Govt quota (GQ) ?5.93 Lac For Management Quota (MQ): ?18.25 Lac For NRI quota : $27000
Campus Life
The experience is amazing with the annual adrenaline fest consisting of conferences ted talks. The library of our college has many journals and articles helpful for research work. The lecture halls are well equipped with projector. The extracurricular activities include cricket and football leagues.
Admission
I was getting all the Govt colleges in Gujarat except BJMC. But being near home was a priority at that time so Smt NHL MMC is the best one to select from the ones in Ahmedabad city. It has adrenaline fest yearly which allows students to do research. Paper presentation, ted talks are also held.
Faculty
We had part ending exams for anatomy. Then for the yearly exam preparation prelims were taken to assess our preparation. Along with practical exams to give us simulation of the actual exam. The viva practise and history taking all were taught very well.
