Course Curriculum Overview

4

I would like to rate course curriculum for 8 out of 10. The course curriculum designed in such a way that it is based upon the industry needs. I cannot say course curriculum is easy or difficult it is subject to students perspective if he listend to classes it feals easy. It he doesn't listens to classes it feals difficult. As I said curriculum prepares to the real world applications. It prepares to solve the real world problems. Based on industry every year curriculum used to change. The areas for improving the teaching methods is some professors just reads the power points instead of explaining. But we can complain to higher authorities. As I mentioned earlier there are 2 internals and 1 external written test. For 2 internals each exam is of 1 hr 30 min which sufficient for the exam. And for external exam the exam time is 3 hours for 100 marks. The curriculum is divided into four CO'S. For internal exam 1 syllabus is 2 CO'S

Internships Opportunities

4

In KLU you get internship opportunities from 3rd year only. The areas plenty of companies visiting college which I cannot reveal it. The roles offering are associate software engineer, trainee etc. From 2nd year onwards we used to do projects on MERN Stack, Python Full Stack and Java Full stack. In the final year you have to do a final project. For every project there will be hackathons as well and 3. Reviews in the hackathon which will be held for 2 days.

Placement Experience

4

In KLU there are better placement opportunities for students and there are internship opportunities as well. Students are eligible for placement from 5th semester on wards. Students used to get internship from 3rd year onwards. There are plenty of companies visited to my college like Barclays,TCS, Accenture,PWC etc.. I got placed in Accenture. The highest pay package is 45 LPA and average pay package for 2023-2024 is around 9.79LPA. Internship is also available. Around 90% above of students gets placed even after graduation some students are allowed for company placements. My plans after getting degree is to join the company increase my skills.

Fees and Financial Aid

I had graduated from KLU recently. I had joined KLU in 2020 with B.tech Course. Fee structure varies between branches. I had studied in CSE branch. So for CSE I had paid fees of 2,05,000 per year which I had got concession but actual fee is 2,30,000 per year with out concession. Tution fee for CSE is 2,05,000 per year there is no caution fee and registration fee. But at the time of admission I had paid 15,000 in which 5,000 comes under admission fee and remaining 10,000 will be added to tution fee. There are no fees for development and lab. If it comes to category wise for Artificial intelligence and Data Science you have to pay 2,60,000 which you will get concession.

Campus Life

3.5

In my college there are plenty of fests will held every year. One Main event for all branches and one single event for each branch. Since I am a cse student for CSE there is are fest named samyak and for entire campus there is a fest named Surabhi. For that events there will be technical and non-technical events. For event evening a dance program will be held. There is an central library in college which is very big. The books will be available to take home as well and there are E-books as well. For journals only professors have access to all the journals . The facilities in college are very nice with best seating comfort and projection of power points as well no power cut in college. Students used to get free technologies. In KLU sports is major attraction for admission the ground is big to play cricket there are nets for practising cricket and there are volleyball ball courts as well. There are so many clubs including social groups like swetcha etc.

Admission

I preferd this college because the course curriculum is up to the date and it is not out dated. Curriculum is based on industry upgradation. And in my college there are better placement opportunities and internship opportunities startes from 3rd year itself l I had applied to VIT vellore. SRM AP and Vignan out of these three I chooses KLU because of better placement opportunities and KLU is strict in terms of discipline. I didn't got any rejections from any college . Admission process is there will be counseling for students for that you have to write a entrance exam. You have to bring entrance exam results and have to bring their +2 results and government ID. You have to pay admission fee after counseling is completed. For my admission since there is a COVID at my admission time. Counselling has done in online mode. The eligibility for college admission is 80% above in inter results. Cutoff for entrance exam will be decided by college.

Faculty

4

In my college there are three components lecture, skilling and practical. For all the components a common teacher will allocated and for skilling and practical additional professor for monitoring and clarifying the doubts. In my college there are good faculty who had done PhDs. I liked Surya sir who teaches mern stack in my second year. He explains concepts very clearly and in practical sessions he used to clarify doubts very clearly. In my college I used to like every faculty who teaches me in this four years. For each subject used to have 2 internal exams and 1 external exams. In internal and external used to have skill and lab exams as well for each component a weightage will be there. For a total of 100 marks the weightage depends on. I can't say course curriculum is very easy or very difficult it depends on students attention to classes and preparation for exam. But faculty student relationship is very friendly in nature.
