GD Goenka University - Is it for You?

Course curriculum is good. You can get to learn a lot in this. But the curriculum can be improved for preparing us to real-world applications. Exams happen on mid term and end term basis. And for internals also teachers keep taking exams.

I don't know much about the placements as this is my 2nd year only. But my seniors say that we will not get more. 3-4 lpa is what we will be getting. Not to expect more than that. But ofcourse we can upskill ourselves and got for off campus placements as the teaching in the college is good.

2 lakh early fees for my course and 10% increament yearly. I also got 20% scholarship in 2nd year through CUET. Admission fees is 50000. The fees for cse with specialization is 2.5 lakhs yearly. The college also provides scholarship to domicile students.

There are many clubs in my college and almost fir every student there are clubs that they can join. Clubs do work very actively. The name of the fest is REVA. Talking about books accessibility, we can access the books from the library easily and there are many books for that.

This college was near my home. I just don't like it's events. I tried government colleges but the marks were not enough. Admission is easy going. They just check marks and take a short interview of the candidate.

Faculty is also decent. Some are very good but some are not. But ofcourse they are helpful. 75% attendance is mandatory. Both internals and externals together comprise of our overall assessment. Lab and the curriculum is also good.
