I really wanted to be a doctor in my childhood days so I pursue this course .it serves for the people health and I love to help others so I pursue this course.the practical aspects of this course helps us to interact with patients in hospital as there is hospital visit which is in our new campus

Class Size: 150Course Fees: INR 650000 per year

Internships Opportunities

After the mbbs course gets over we have to do internship in our own hospital in our campus only where we are going to posted in different departments in different timespan .in our college we will be getting stipend like25k per month which is a descent amount for an intern

Fees and Financial Aid

It's mbbs course which is semi govt organization and for general category its annual tution fees is 6.5 lakh and others including hostel mess and others is around 3 lakhs .so around 10 lakhs for first year and it will reduce by 1 lakh from next year as no caution money is needed.for nri student it is 4 times double

Campus Life

Our college is very beautiful.it is full of green plant all around.we have all the grounds like we have football ground.cricket stadium where state and national games happened.we have swimming pool , badminton court ,gym volleyball basketball

Hostel Facilities

We are provided with a bed study table cupboard chair fan or a/c .we have common washing machine facilities.daily room cleaning facilities we have common bathroom for each floor.foods are good we have both veg and non veg items .we got 6 days non veg items

Hostel Fee: INR 150000 per year

Admission

I had applied to the all the govt medical college in our state and we got the admission according to the merit list from neet examination and I got this college according to my score and merit.cut off varies every year but save cut off is 600 marks out of 720

Faculty

Faculties are sufficient for the batch and all are very helpful.i really like Arpita mam from physiology reecha mam and mrutunjaya sir from biochemistry and Sarita mam from anatomy.its a mbbs course so we have three internal examination and final professional examination.both theory and practical examination of each subject are considered important

For csit the subjects kee changing accroding to the trendy stuffs that are currently going on but it was really hard to keep with that when all your subjects are changed and you have o idea or previous year qs to geta reference from. Exams are conducted continously with no gaps and its not a easy stuff students get lot of stress but still somehow manage.

A Complete Review of KIIT University from a Student's View

Placement Experience:

The placement opportunities at KIIT are quite good, especially for us the CSE students.The eligibility criteria for campus placements starts from 7th semester. Many well-known companies visit the university every year like TATA Consultancy Services , Infosys, Wipro, Accenture and Capgemini.The average package offered is around 6-8 lakhs and highest package offered around per yr avg is 50-60 lakhs.The percentage of students getting placements is around 90% plus in average per yr. After completing my degree, i plan to work in software industry and gain more experience in the field of technology

Placement Experience:

Students are eligible for placement from their 3rd year onwards. It has been only 2-3 months but I have seen several companies arriving at the college, prominent ones being Flipkar,Deloitte, Xerox, TCS, Wipro, Infosys, Microsoft, Dell and several others including startups. There is no accurate data on how many offers have been made this year, but there are rumours that more than 95% of the eligible students have got placements. After getting a degree my plans are if I dont land into a satisfying job then I will start my preparation of the military or start a new business.

Students after completing 6th semester are given chances to do internship and convert it to ppo A total of around 60 companies visited the campus last year. For core branches tata power ,jsw offers a lot of jobs in tech roles tcs capegemini and other service based companies hires. Also cisco hires via there hiring process. Student have also grabbed placement at amazon and ib like credit suisse and goldman sachs previously. Around 60% students are getting placed every year Last year a total of 650 offers are made. So its better to get a job via campus placement rather than trying off-campus

Placement Experience:

Placements in our college are good but not great. Th overall performance of students getting placement from every branch course combined is more than seventy percent. But the percentage in branch to branch respective wise is different , as Computer science engineering, Electronics and Telecommunications Engineering and Electrical Engineering have higher placement rates than any other courses. From Seventh semester students became eligible for sitting in placements. You can say from the start of Fourth year students sit in placements. Many companies visit and offer placements to our students but the big companies are TCS( Tata consultancy services) , Infosys, Adani Limited , Reliance Limited , Tata Power and Co.. The highest package offered to our branch course ( Electrical Engineering ) Is 13 LPA by Tata Power. The percentage of students getting placed by Electrical Engineering is pretty good and is 77%. Overall percentage of students from all branches is 72%. My plans after getting the degree is simple. I am preparing for placements and also for gate exam . I want to give myself a chance . I will try to get a big placement from a big company as I want . If that doesn't go according to my plan I will try to qualify gate exam and will do Masters in Technology in a. Higher Institute.
