Course Curriculum Overview
Even though our department have all kind of facilities like labs and equippment but proper maintaining will be needed and guided. Sometimes some of the chemicals and cultures were expired and there will be no available reagents in stocks. Because of this some of the experiments will be skipped.
Fees and Financial Aid
The tution fee will be paid for students by various scholarships who are eligible for those scholarships where as I'm not eligible to get those scholarships so I have paid fee around 9k for each year and semester wise exam fee which will be around 1k. For SC and ST and other BC caste students tution fee will completely paid by JVD.
Campus Life
The college life and hostel life was very precious to all students..we learnt so many new things and we explored various subjects and topics in library. There will be intramural activities and cultural activities and various college wise and university wise competitions. And also sports activities.
Hostel Facilities
The hostel food is not that bad as the monthly expenses of hostel will be very low around 2k. Each room has about 8 mem and 4 racks. Fans and lights will be provided in the room. The registration process will be right after the counselling done in the college ...the priority will be given to the students who are from very long distance and the seats will be alloted based on that. It's a student management hostel so the expense will be low and good.
Admission
This course combination i.e., Biochemistry, microbiology and chemistry will only available in this college in our whole state I think ...and also another college which is govt arts college but it is suitable for day scholars but not for long distance students as theres no hostel facility. But in this college we are provided by hostel facility and maintenance of the hstl is not that bad and the expenses were not pretty much high when compared to other colleges. And it is a women's college so definitely both safety and studies will be available for long distance students who are financially weaker students.
Faculty
There will be 3 members staff for all three year students and will take each subject for different semesters. Personally I love laveena mam, she's so capable and have very good communication skills as well as subject knowledge even though biochemistry is a bot tough subject but our mam made it so easy and understandable for even students came from Telugu medium. Mam will support every student both on academic wise and personal life wise. I would like to say that our mam is the back bone of our department. Each semester have two internals which will be conducted by our staff and practicals along with them there will be marks for attendance,records, seminars and assignments. The semester exams will be held in college itself.
