Review of STC

The curriculum is incredibly up to date and relevant. And if needed, updates are made to the curriculum every semester. Maybe, the first semester which is treated as an introductory semester could have a bit more focus on the major of the course. But other than that, the curriculum has nothing to be worried about.

Students before eligible for placements from the 5th semester. A lot of companies, about 100-150 companies visit and about 70 percent of the students get offers. Highest package would be around 8-10 lpa, and average is 4-6 lpa. My plans are to do an MBA after this.

45000 per semester. No changes in fees. Fixed fee for all 3 years/6 semesters. Exam fee per semester is 2500. Includes Lab and Theory exams. Scholarships are plenty. About 2.6 Crore worth of Scholarships every year.

We have an annual tech fest around Jan-Feb every year and each department hosts it's own tech fest. The library is incredibly stacked and I spend most of my time there. The variety and depth of books is really good. College is number 2 in all of the district in volleyball, and certain students have represented India at the international level. Smartboards in every classroom. Over 30 clubs and student help association are also available.

I got Christ University, Bangalore where I studied for a couple years and had to drop out due to severe allergies pertaining to the weather. I applied to Manipal, and many other colleges and got accepted in all of them. I eventually dropped from Christ and joined STC, the eligibility is mainly 12th marks and co-curricular activities.

The faculties are overall, very good. They are incredibly adept at their focus areas and deliver well. However, certain areas do lack, but very minimal. Most of the faculty are really good at what they do. Exams are quite at par. Should be passable with enough attention during lectures and a little revision before exams. The course curriculum is up to date and changes are made every semester if needed.
