Course Curriculum Overview
I was intrigued by a subject called I.C Engines and that is the reason for me that chose this course at this college. The course curriculum is not bad i would say but they could include some modern theories and technology topics in the course. I think the faculty should get ride of the 'reading out the prepared ppt' teaching method. The exams were not that difficult tbh. They'll ask you basic questions and some difficult Numerals. The exams used to be commended 4 times a year; 2 internal exams, 2 external exams.
Internships Opportunities
College offered internship in local companies to most of the students i.e Elecon. Rolcom, GMM, hyundai, Unique Forging, The college didnt had an option of either foung a project or doing the internship in the final year.
Placement Experience
From 6th senester students were getting jobs. I dont have an idea about it but there were good companies like Mg hector, elecon, GMM etc. Highest package i think was 6 lacs and the average package would be 2-3 lacs Almost everyone who were sitting in placements were hired.
Fees and Financial Aid
For the first year it was 51000 per semester, then for the second year 52000 then for the last 2 years 53000. There are also scholarship opportunities which will be fully given to the applicable students.
Campus Life
Spectrum was held every year in summer time. There was a wide range of books available in the library. There was 3-d printing labs, cad labs, etc The college used to commence various sports tournaments a year in different sports. No
Admission
I only applied to this college and not any other. There are only a few colleges in my city and i didnt want to move out of the city that's why i chose this college. Admission process is pretty simple. Fill ou the form. And the HOD would would briefly interview you for the admission and youre done.
Faculty
The faculty were all good from teaching point of view. Our HOD was a master in at the field and could explain everything the very easily. Student faculty ratio was maybe 3:1. I didnt like a professor named sankalp bhatia because he was always rude to students and never talked in a polite way. There was 1 external exam and to appear in it you need to pass an internal exam and also keep the attendance above 70-80percent. There are also quizes and 10 mark tests randomly 2-3 times a month.
