IFTM UNIVERSITY, MORADABAD review

the curriculum of my BBA course is good, it has teach and incorporated me with many skills like using softwares ms office and tally for accounting, publishing reports, and making presentations. some of my subjects in my first year were business economics, accounting, business stats, business finance, principles of managements, human resouce e.t.c the problem with my curriculum is that it is mostly theory based and do not prepares you well for real world applications while course like BBA should be made mostly practical looking at future works the student of BBA has to do, they can improve their curriculum by introducting practicals like business case study, presentations, industrial visits and with many more things.

the course which i am doing has a duration of 3 years and is divided in six semesters.my semester fees is rs.22,500/- (everything included) so the total fees of entire course is 1,35,000 additional to this there is one time admission fees which is rs.5000/- and is taken at the time of registration in the university. the university also offers fees waiver which depends on two factor 1.your income written on income certificate 2.your marks in 12th board exam, for example i have scored 86% in my 12th board and my family income written on income certificate is 1,79,000 so i got waiver of 40% now important point to note is that this deduction is done only in 2nd semester fees of every year that means i your course is of 3 years then only in 2nd,4th,6th semesters this waiver can be applied, other important thing to note is that this waiver is applied only on tution and not other fees like examination & registration. the examination fees per annum is rs.10,000.

the campus life of college is good, it has a very big campus. the are many festivals celelbrated here. the campus of college also has a very big library and comfortable environment to read and study books.every classroom is incorporated with projectors, canvas and cameras for presentation and security purposes.

I chose this college because 1. this college is in my city and i didn't wanted to go outside of my home city 2. this college is affordable and naac A accedited 3. this college is good facilities and campus 4. this college has good reputation 5. this college is one of two big colleges available in the city or even in ncr Actually i wanted TMU university which is a very great college but due to some financial i chose iftm over it the admission process here in iftm is very easy, no entrance exam is required. for ug courses 12th passed is the eligiblity and nothing else.

they faculty here is very good specially all the female faculty (special mention to ila mam and jyoti mam of management department).all faculty teaches you with passion (some exception), some of them also provide you pdf notes if in case you want before exams. every semester has 2 CT, practicals (if any) and then main theory exams. the main theory exam is of 75 marks the CT's are of 10 marks each and they give 5 marks based on your attendance, submitted assignments and behaviour in class. this gives a total of 100 marks. In the result of every semesters marks are not written instead they give you grades and a final CGPA for example in my last semester i scored 8.2 CGPA and grades of individual subjects were like A,A+ & B+ . for students who for whatever didn't give any or both 2 main CT'S can give optional CT conducted after them. students who got fail in maximum 3 exams can give re exams but if they fail in more than 3 in one semester they have to repeat the year once again.
