Course Curriculum Overview
to be honest, the curriculam of ECE is outdated syllabus, if u are genuinely interested then you have to learn from other resources or else you can switch to software side by learning software courses. the faculty also have limited and textbook knowledge which we can literally learn by ourselves without any help. the exams are very frequent, you have a semester every 3-4 months, including 2 mids, internals and externals of all subjects.
Placement Experience
this year 2023-24 placements were very bad due to recession only 4-5 companies came, we decided to apply off-campus rather than only depemding on on-campus, most of them settled for lower packages later got better when applied for off-campus placements. total placements were 200-250 only remaining were not good placements (sales and marketing side). Accenture, IBM, intellipaat,TCS only visited our college who took only limited students. 50% students got placed and remaining were left unplaced, they were trying for masters and few did courses, and rest applied through off-campus. lowest package-3.25 lpa, highest pacakge-11lpa
Fees and Financial Aid
total fees for general category with free seat but no scholarships would be 46500. total fees with scholarships like JVD with free seat would be 10500. total fees for management quota no matter the reservation or rank would be around 1 lakh+. fee structure: tuition fees would be 65-70% of fees i.e. around 30k+ and library+sports+extracurriculam+lab would be 20-30% and extra maintainance fees would also be there. but if you have scholarships then only tution fees(10500) you will have to pay no extra fees.
Campus Life
infrastructure wise its good libraries and labs are quite good, most of the books are availaible, classrooms are quite good, very spatial and good ventilation. annual and technical fests are rare, only 2 fests are there every year, that's it. we have clubs, and every year picnic trip is there. sports are also good, many participate in inter-college competitions also and got medals too.
Admission
during covid, the cut-offs for all collges increased so much that i had to choose this average college because of me being in a general category, the fees was less and was at less distance for my house, i got selected for other colleges too but the branches i wasnt interested in and had too much tution and hostel fees. so i had to choose what is better at that moment. other colleges also had very high cut-offs due to covid, and fees were also increased a lot. for B.E/b.tech we can write AP-EAMCET exam and based on your rank you will get seat in this college, you will have three counsellings and for each counselling you can choose college of your choice. later the admission process was smooth, just bring the required documents while taking admission.
Faculty
faculty-student ratio is 1:4 ratio, most of them are faculty but college is just like school, there is friendliness but also very strictness for students as it's a girls college, frequent permissions for emergency outing is not given. if you are going to be absent you have to inform them prior. i like Nirmala mam chemistry faculty, super friendly. i dislike senior faculties, too strict. total exams for each semester would be 3, 2 mid-exams and 1 semester exams, including internal and external labs for every sem.
